In this episode Angel runs into vampires from his past, Elisabeth and James. After Angel stakes Elizabeth, James is after revenge. He goes to a demon doctor who makes him invincible for a while and when he tracks down Angel, he threatens to kill Cordy, thinking she is the woman Angel loves. Angel tells him the woman he loves is dead and eventually kills James.

At the end of the episode we see a woman walking away from a bar, it's Darla and she is pregnant.

Lilah does this and Angel impales the mystic with a steel pole and tells Lilah to never come to him through Cordy again.

He also tells her that her visions will kill her as she is human and can't handle them He gives her a choice, to stay with Angel and the gang or the life where she is famous.

At the end she finds Angel who is going mad as he has Doyle's visions and kisses him, choosing her life the Angel. In order to be able to handle the visions, Cordy has a small bit of demon put in her.

In this episode Angel is worried that he won't be able to provide for Connor so he pushes the gang into earning more money. A group of Nadras demons want Fred to solve a puzzle for them, and if she does they will pay $50,000 but the gang find out that if she solves it the Nadras are going to cut of her head. In this episode the gang decide to go for a night out at the ballet. When they get there Angel realises that it's the same dancers on stage from when he saw the company in 1890. Angel & Cordy become possessed by the dancer and her lovers spirits and act out the act of infidelity. Fred and Gunn start dating in this episode much to Wesley's dismay.

Holtz gave Connor a new name in this episode, Steven Franklin Thomas.

In this episode we learn that years ago Gunn sold his soul to a demon, Jenoff, for money to buy his truck. Jenoff decides that it's time for Gunn to pay and calls in the debt. He spends one last day with Fred and goes to see Jenoff but Angel and the rest of the gang go after him and help him get out of the debt.

In this episode The Hyperion gets infected by weird slug-like creatures who infect humans and kill them by dehydration. When Gunn goes to Wesley for help, he only agrees to help when he learns that Fred is infected. The Gang get Fred to drink a bottle of whiskey and this cures her but she remembers something about The Destroyer.

The slug creatures where fleeing from it and came through a portal when Angel used the dark magic to help Kill Sahjhan. At the end of he episode a portal opens in the hotel and a demon jumps through followed by a teenage boy who quickly kills it.

After coming through the portal Connor attacks Angel before running away from the hotel. He befriends Sunny after he helps her get away from her dealer. Angel tries to help him but he turns to Holtz, who has also returned from Quor'toth, instead. Wolfram and Hart send Lilah to visit Wesley to try and get him to work for them.

Time passes quicker in Quor'toth, the Hell dimension they were in, so although years passed there it has only been days in LA. In this episode Connor goes to a nightclub with Angel and helps him kill some vampires. Holtz tells Connor that he must return to Angel but has Justine help him kill himself and bore two holes in his neck to make Connor believe that Angel killed him.
