After Doctor de Puebla had an unsuccessful meeting with Henry VII, de Puebla then found out that Catherine was writing to her sister Queen Juana of Castile and her husband come to visit her. De Puebla then pointed out that Dona Elvira's brother was in Flanders plotting against Ferdinand of Aragon. Catherine tore up the letter and handed it to Dona Elvira.

As Henry VII lay dying, Catherine was despairing over what do. Maria de Salinas said, "Don't worry about us Your Highness. If we have no dowries then the Englishmen must take us without." Catherine said she would rather die than go back to Spain unmarried.

Blooper alert: Catherine was on her knees before her husband and as she was speaking a boom mike was clearly seen at the bottom center. I don't think those things were around in the 1500's.
