1. William Shatner

Answer: "The Butler's Night Off"

He played a crook in this short, Canadian movie made in 1951. It wasn't a very popular movie, but as a 20 year old just getting into show business, it really helped jumpstart his career.
2. Armin Shimerman

Answer: "Women at West Point"

This was a movie made in 1979 about the first women to enter the U.S. Military Academy, and the problems they, and the other personnel, faced during the process. Armin played Major Logan.
3. Scott Bakula

Answer: "I-Man"

In this 1986 movie, a man was exposed to extra-terrestrial gas, and he gained the ability to heal anyone instantly, and survive any injury or toxin. Scott played the main character, Jeffery Wilder.
4. Leonard Nimoy

Answer: "Queen for a Day"

This 1951 movie was based on a very popular daytime "Mutual Broadcasting Company" radio show of the same name, that lasted from the mid 40s into the 70s. Leonard played a small character named, conveniently enough, Leonard Nimoy.
5. Avery Brooks

Answer: "Solomon Northup's Odyssey"

This 1984 movie was based on a true story. He played a black man who was born free before slavery was abolished. His character was a carpenter and musician, named Solomon Northup. One day Solomon gets kidnapped, sold into slavery, and tries to get a hold of his family back home.
6. Dominic Keating

Answer: "Desmonds"

He played a man named Tony in a popular British, black sitcom that lasted for 5 years, from 1989-1994. "Desmonds" is considered by many to be one of the funniest black comedies of all time.
7. Kate Mulgrew

Answer: "Alien Lover"

In this 1975 movie, an orphaned teenager becomes involved with an alien who was beamed to Earth from another galaxy in a television signal. Kate played the main character, Susan.
8. Patrick Stewart

Answer: "Theatre 625"

"A Fall of Eagles" was a the first miniseries he appeared in that was more than one episode. This 1974 British miniseries about the collapse of the major European dynasties, the Romanovs, Hapsburgs, and Hohenzollerns. Patrick played Lenin.
9. Robert Picardo

Answer: "Doubletalk"

A short, 1975 film, in which a girl takes her boyfriend to meet her parents. There are very few existing copies of this movie. What makes this movie interesting is that, along with the normal dialouge, you hear the character's thoughts too, which are often different than what he or she said.
10. Jonathan Frakes

Answer: "The Doctors"

He played Tom Carroll from 1977 to 1978 in this long-lasting television series that ran from 1963 to 1982. This show had 5182 total episodes, and the first 5 seasons were in black and white.
