Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In "Bar Association" Worf and Dax have their quarters robbed by a Dopterian who Worf found in the vents. Worf and Dax knew he was in their quarters when several items were found on him notably Worf's tooth sharpener. Worf takes him to jail and tells Odo this has never happened on the Enterprise. We know differently and Odo reads him all of the security breaches of every single "Next Generation" episode. Which two security breaches were mentioned before Worf told Odo to stop?

Answer: "Rascals" and "A Matter of Time"

Odo perfectly describes each and every single detail of these two security breaches. The first one which happened on Stardate 46235.7 is known as "Rascals". What happened was Lurin stole two Klingon Birds of Prey from a Federation junkyard on Qualor II, armed them, and used them to attack the Enterprise.

The Enterprise crew consisting of Captain Picard, Keiko, Guinan, and Ensign Ro (who were turned into kids by a transporter accident) managed to stop Lurin and have him sent to a Ferengi prison. The second one happened on Stardate 45349.1 which is the plot of "A Matter of Time" and involved a man known as Berlinghoff Rasmussen a time thief from the 20th century. Rasmussen stole a time-pod from Captain Braxton, killed him, went back to the 24th century, and looted the Enterprise and tried to take Data apart. Data arrested Rasmussen and he was sent to the prison on Starbase 214.

The reason Worf told Odo to stop was he knew the next security breach would be "Reunion" which is the day K'Ehleyr got stabbed by Duras.
2. In "Forsaken" Lwaxana Troi visits the station and she and Odo get trapped in the turbolift. Which Ferengi pirate did she tell Odo about?

Answer: Tog

In "Menage a Troi" Lwaxana was kidnapped by Tog and forced to remove her clothing aboard his ship. Riker used a chess match to escape from his cell so he could send a signal to Captain Picard using the ships engines. Wesley decoded the message and delivered it to Picard who rescued Lwaxana, Riker, and Deanna from Tog's ship and returned them to the Enterprise.

She still does not like what happened that day and since then has been known to hate the Ferengi.
3. In "Blood Oath" the legendary Klingon captains drop by Deep Space Nine to pay a visit to their old friend Dax. Which Klingon captain did Odo throw in the drunk tank?

Answer: Kor

Quark was complaining about Kor overstaying his hour on the holodeck and he called Odo to evict him. Kor was inside the holodeck playing the "Battle of the Briar Patch", or in Klingon, "Klach D'kel Brakt". Quark shut off the power and Kor drunkenly lunged at him before he was pacified by Odo. Odo said that he was going to take him downstairs for a drink to celebrate but in reality once he got back to the bar Kor was arrested and taken to the drunk tank. Koloth came down to bail him out but when Koloth realized that Kor was still drunk he told Odo to keep him until he sobered up. Dax ultimately paid the bail.
4. The Deep Space 9 crew goes back in time when the Orb of Time gets activated. What is the stardate and the episode they ended up in?

Answer: 4523.3: "Trouble with Tribbles"

This is my favorite episode. The Orb of Time was activated by Arne Darvin who is a Klingon Augment surgically altered to look human. Darvin's goal was to go back to "Trouble with Tribbles" and murder Kirk for making him an outcast. To catch him the Deep Space Nine crew impersonated their 23rd century counterparts and boarded the Enterprise and K7 to lure Darvin into the open.

They took part in every event from Chekov and Uhura buying Tribbles, watching Koloth arrive, taking part in the "Trouble with Tribbles" bar fight, and watching Kirk being bonked by one million Tribbles. Darvin was caught by Worf and Odo and returned to the present and once the Deep Space Nine Crew returned to the station Darvin was traded to the Klingons and sent to Rura Penthe for violating the Temporal Prime Directive.
5. In "First Born" the Enterprise crew gets visited by the Duras sisters, who are up to no good as always, and just stole something from a nearby planet. What did they steal this time?

Answer: Magnesite ore

The Duras sisters were mining Magnesite illegally on Kalla III and attempted to smuggle it off world. Raker stopped the transport and beamed the ore into space before destroying it with a phaser. This caused an electromagnetic pulse which fried the cloaking device of the Duras sisters' Bird of Prey forcing them to decloak.

This will not be the last time the Enterprise crew will encounter the Duras sisters up to no good.
6. Which Ferengi pirate escaped from jail in "Bloodlines"?

Answer: Bok

Bok escaped from jail by bribing the guards. Bok was put in jail in "The Battle" for violating the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition by giving Picard the Stargazer and using a Romulan thought maker to brainwash Picard. After he escaped Bok infected Jason Vigo with a virus, which almost killed him, and corrupted his DNA. Dr. Crusher reversed the effects of the virus and Jason was cured. Bok was returned to the Ferengi and was denied bail to prevent him from escaping again.
7. Who was marooned on Ceti Alpha V in "Space Seed" and returned 15 years later in the movie named after him?

Answer: Khan

Khan Noonien Singh the Augment Dictator of the Galaxy himself. From 1992 to 1996 Khan ruled one quarter of Earth until he was overthrown and placed in a cryopod known as the Botany Bay and sent into space to die. Kirk revived him and taught him about the 23rd Century. Once Khan found out they knew his name he revived his Augments, took over the Enterprise, and tried to kill Kirk. Kirk defeated Khan and marooned him and Marla McGivers on Ceti Alpha V. 15 years later a rogue planet named Ceti Alpha VI exploded and turned Ceti Alpha V into a wasteland.

In "Wrath of Khan" Chekov accidentally breached quarantine and beamed down to the planet. When he realized his mistake he was captured by Khan and had Ceti Alpha Eels placed in his head. Khan than stole Chekov's ship the USS Reliant and used it to attack Kirk. Kirk beat Khan once again but it came at a cost. Khan stole the Genesis torpedo from Regula and detonated it in the Mutara Nebula. Khan also caused a warp core breach on the Enterprise by flooding Engineering with radiation. Spock went into the dilithium chamber to repair the plasma conduits but was killed in the process when radiation released from the plasma touched his skin. Khan blew himself up to prevent himself from being captured and returned to his prison and with Khan's death the Augments were defeated for good.
8. In "The Price" the Ferengi Arridor and Kol take part in the first mission to the Delta Quadrant then vanish when the wormhole collapses. Which "Voyager" episode did Arridor and Kol reappear?

Answer: "False Profits"

Arridor and Kol crashed on Takar and made the Tikarians worship them like gods. The Voyager crew got them and their shuttle off of Takar and attempted to bring them back on board but they were pulled into the wormhole and sent back to the Alpha Quadrant.
9. Which famous event did Tuvok witness?

Answer: The Destruction of Praxis

Tuvok served as an ensign on the Excelsior when Praxis exploded and he was the one who made the tea for Sulu. The episode is indeed called "Flashback" since Tuvok tells Janeway the backstory of "Undiscovered Country". The first event is the one we know from "Undiscovered Country" Tuvok comes onto the bridge with Valtane and delivers the tea to Sulu and then tells Sulu he will get more. Than Praxis explodes, the tea is destroyed, and Sulu has to fly the ship through the debris field and the subspace shockwave. Later Sulu and Tuvok attempt to get Kirk and Bones off of Rura Penthe but they get stopped by Kang in the Azure Nebula. Sulu ignites the plasma in the nebula and they escape.

In the present it is found out Tuvok was infected with a virus which is giving him false memories of a girl dying.

The Doctor kills the virus and Tuvok's memories are restored.
10. "Yesterday's Enterprise" brought back to life this former Enterprise D crew member who was killed in "Skin of Evil" by the slime monster Armus. Who is it?

Answer: Natasha Yar

In "Skin of Evil," Natasha was killed when the slime monster Armus demonstrated his powers. In "Yesterday's Enterprise," she was brought back to life when the ship she served on Enterprise C went through the wormhole and altered time. The timeline was corrected when Yar and Enterprise C went back through the wormhole and time was restored (almost).
