Answer: The Last Gunfight

It was filmed under the title "The Last Gunfight," then later changed to "Spectre of the Gun" during the editing process.
2. The actress Bonnie Beacher played Chekov's (Billy's) love interest in this episode. What was her character's name?

Answer: Sylvia

Bonnie Beacher is thought to be the inspiration for "the Girl from the North Country" on his "The Freewheeling Bob Dylan" album. She has recorded several albums including some songs that were written by Dylan.
3. Which of these main characters are not seen in this episode?

Answer: Sulu

Although at the beginning of the episode during a wide shot, we possible see the back of Sulu's head. The navigator in this episode had lighter brown hair, but in that shot the man's hair is darker. Or maybe it's just the angle and lighting. . .

All of these characters played their normal "Star Trek" characters and were also known as their respective OK Corral names, but James Doohan was Scotty, Billy Clanton, and the voice of the alien space bouy.

"Yes, of course. The man who kills on sight- Morgan Earp!" exclaims Kirk during a saloon scene. Morgan was the youngest Earp brother in Tombstone at the time.

The newspaper was hanging on a wall. In true Kirk/Shatner style he says the date once and then repeats it a few minutes later for dramatic effect "There's something about that date October 26, 1881. . but what is it?"

McCoy says it right after they discover the newspaper on the wall and realize that they are in Tombstone, Arizona in 1881.

After talking with the "landing party", the sheriff is laughing at one of Kirk/Ike's "jokes". As he is walking away he says "Well, nobody can say Johnny Behan doesn't have a sense of humor!" Historically accurate too, since Johnny Harris Behan (1845-1912) was the first sheriff of Cochise county (of which Tombstone was a part of) in 1881-1882.

He also played a Ekosian sergeant on "Patterns of Force" He was also in 5 different "Columbo" episodes and 8 "Gunsmoke" shows. In all, he was in 73 different TV shows and movies until his death in 2002.

Answer: Kirk

He reaches for his gun so that the fight would start, but since they are all under the effects of the Vulcan Mind Meld, none of the bullets could harm them since they weren't real. A nice effect was the wooden boards behind the Enterprise party splintering from the bullets fired by the Earp's even though the crew wasn't harmed.
