Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who portrayed Steve Sanders?

Answer: Ian Ziering

Ian Ziering was one of the handful of "90210" cast members who was around from day one right to the end of the ten-year show. Ian, who pronounces his first name as EYE-in, has also appeared in many other television shows including "JAG", "What I Like About You" (with Jennie Garth), and "Guiding Light". Most recently, he reached the semi-finals in season four of "Dancing with the Stars" and in June 2007, he auditioned for the role of the new host of "The Price is Right", a job that ultimately went to Drew Carey.
2. What did the license plate on Steve's Corvette read?

Answer: I8A 4RE

From seasons one through six, Steve drove a black 1989 Chevy Corvette convertible. The license plate "I8A 4RE" or "I ate a Ferrari" was clearly seen in multiple episodes. His plate number was also stated by a police office in the first season episode "Slumber Party", after two girls stole Steve's car.
3. What did Steve call his 'business', when he was David's music manager?

Answer: Sanders Management Group

At the beginning of season three, during the summer episodes, Steve heard David playing his music at the beach club and immediately saw potential. Steve decided to become David's manager and got him a few gigs under the pretense of calling from "Sanders Management Group", including playing at the end of the summer party at the beach club. Later on in the third season, Steve set David up with Serge Menkin, a record producer, who demanded that David drop Steve as his manager. David did, but then later realized he was wrong and asked Steve to be his manager again.
4. Who was Steve's biggest enemy, dating back to childhood?

Answer: Chuck

Chuck Wilson, played by Miko Hughes, was a child actor who was on a sitcom with Steve's mother Samantha. Steve and Chuck never got along as children. In the second season episode "Chuckie's Back", Chuck began attending West Beverly High. He and Steve got into a fight and Steve was suspended from school.

When Samantha took Chuck's side in the dispute, Steve was very angry and eventually decided that he needed to track down his birth parents, even after he patched things up with Samantha.
5. In his first year at California University, who accused Steve of rape?

Answer: Laura

Steve went out with Laura Kingman in the fourth season episode "Otherwise Engaged". He slept with her and then dodged her calls and avoided her. A couple episodes later, in "Take Back the Night", Steve told Laura he couldn't see her anymore because he was dating Celeste, and Laura (who was a little unstable) concluded that Steve date raped her.

She was going to publicly declare him a rapist at a Take Back the Night rally, but Kelly convinced her not to.
6. What was the name of Steve's fraternity?

Answer: Kappa Epsilon Gamma

Steve was a 'legacy' man in the KEG house - his father had been the KEG president during his university days and his grandfather had been a member as well. Steve officially began rushing the fraternity in the fourth season episode "Greek to Me" and remained a member until the end of the seventh season when he graduated from university.

At the beginning of the eighth season, Steve took on the job of alumni representative of the KEG house. Alpha Omega was the sorority that Donna and Kelly joined.
7. Which band played at Steve's 21st birthday party?

Answer: Goo Goo Dolls

A huge birthday party was held for Steve aboard a cruise ship in the two-part season finale of season six, "You Say It's Your Birthday (Parts 1 and 2)". Andrea returned for this episode, and Dylan was seen on videotape. The Goo Goo Dolls were in the second part of the season finale and they performed the songs "Long Way Down", "Naked" and "Name".
8. What was the name of the single mother that Steve dated?

Answer: Carly

Carly Reynolds was played by Hilary Swank and she was featured in sixteen episodes in the eighth season of "90210". In the episode "Aloha, Beverly Hills (Part 1)", Steve accidentally got Carly fired from her waitress job, but later made it up to her by getting her a job at the Peach Pit. Carly's son's name was Zach. Carly and Zach left town in "The Elephant's Father" to move to Montana after her father had a heart attack.
9. Rush Sanders was Steve's biological father.

Answer: True

When he was 16, Steve was told by his mother that he had been adopted as a baby. He found out in the second season that his birth mother's name was Karen Brown and that she died shortly after he was born. However, Steve later found out that his father Rush had gotten Karen pregnant and was therefore actually Steve's father.
10. Who did Steve marry?

Answer: Janet

Janet Sosna, played by Lindsay Price, joined the cast in the eighth season, as an employee of The Beat, a newspaper owned and operated by Steve and Brandon. She and Steve began dating and got engaged after Janet found out she was pregnant. They got married in the tenth season episode "Baby You Can Drive My Car" and baby Madeline was born in "What's in a Name?".
