It was the 28th abduction of one or more aliens since the events of the previous episode. In the previous episode CADMUS had stolen the national alien registry and was rounding up non-humans. The man who initiated the kidnapping was dressed as a police officer and drove a police car.

J'onn issued the order with Supergirl and Alex in the room. Jeremiah was their father, who had turned the tides and started working with CADMUS in the previous episode. It was Jeremiah who stole the alien registry.

Lyra was the alien woman whom Winn had started dating a few episodes earlier. A large group of armed men busted into the bar, started shooting up the place and eventually kidnapped Lyra. One of them was captured in the fight as well.

J'onn, using his shapeshifting abilities disguised himself as Jeremiah to test her loyalty. She failed when she agreed to help him steal from the DEO.

In the next scene the real Jeremiah (Played by Dean Cain) was shown working in a CADMUS lab. Lillian Luthor called him the only Superman she needed, a reference to the actor playing that role on a different TV series.

Alex and her girlfriend stopped an alien from being abducted and stole the coordinates for where CADMUS was keeping the aliens from a GPS unit in the van the abductors were using.

She then went alone to break in, running into her father who explained the aliens were being forcibly deported instead of killed.

Mon-El, who was dating Supergirl, told her that if she felt the need to publish the article she should because she was the most moral person that he knew.

The article went live while Alex was inside the CADMUS lab, forcing Lillian Luthor to move up the timeline she had to launch the ship.

She was able to free one group of aliens from their cells, and those aliens freed others, but before they could get off the ship it launched. Alex was also still on the ship when it launched.

While the ship never reached it's destination, it did launch.

Her blog, Danvers.com, was considered a competing website. He said she used CatCo resources to get the story and then published it on a competing site. For those reasons she was fired.

It was part of his continued mentoring of her, trying to make her a better journalist.

He told her she was lucky and that next time she might not be.

In the scene they both apologized, Alex for disobeying his orders, and J'onn for being wrong.

He said he was sorry and that he had handled the situation wrong, trying to protect her. They hugged and her reinstated her at the DEO, after she had been suspended earlier in the episode.
