Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Stick a pony in me pocket, I'll fetch the suitcase from the van."

Answer: Only Fools and Horses

Created and written by John Sullivan, "Only Fools and Horses" stars David Jason as Derek "Del Boy" Trotter, a wheeler-dealing market trader who truly believes that "this time next year we'll be millionaires", and Nicholas Lyndhurst as his younger brother Rodney.

The full theme tune is...

"Stick a pony in me pocket
I'll fetch the suitcase from the van.
'Cos if you want the best ones
But you don't ask questions
Then brother, I'm your man.

Cause where it all comes from is a mystery,
It's like the changing of the seasons
And the tides of the sea.
But here's the one that's driving me berserk:
Why do only fools and horses work?"
2. "It's only a game, so put up a real good fight."

Answer: Big Break

Hosted by comedian Jim Davidson, "Big Break" is a snooker-based British game show that was originally broadcast between 30th April 1991 and 9th October 2002, and featured professional snooker players using their skill on the green baize to help the contestants win money and prizes.

The full theme tune is...

"It's only a game, so
Put up a real good fight.
I'm gonna be
Snookering you tonight.

"I'm famed for my aim, so
You'd better believe I'm right.
I'm gonna be
Snookering you, snookering you tonight.

BIG BREAK!"
3. "Now, the world don't move to the beat of just one drum, what might be right for you, may not be right for some."

Answer: Diff'rent Strokes

With a run of 189 episodes across eight seasons, "Diff'rent Strokes" was one of the most popular sitcoms of the late-1970s to mid-1980s, and gave us the unforgettable catchphrase "What'chu talkin' about, Willis?" as uttered by Arnold Jackson (played by Gary Coleman).

The full theme tune is...

"Now, the world don't move to the beat of just one drum.
What might be right for you, may not be right for some.
A man is born, he's a man of means.
Then along come two, they got nothing but their jeans.

But they got, Diff'rent Strokes.
It takes Diff'rent Strokes.
It takes Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.

Everybody's got a special kind of story;
Everybody finds a way to shine.
It don't matter that you got not alot.
So what?
They'll have theirs, you'll have yours, and I'll have mine.
And together we'll be fine!

'Cuz it takes Diff'rent Strokes to move the world,
Yes it does.
It takes Diff'rent Strokes to move the world."
4. "Just the good ol' boys, never meanin' no harm."

Answer: The Dukes of Hazzard

Set in fictional Hazzard County, Georgia, "The Dukes of Hazzard" follows the escapades of cousins Bo and Luke Duke as they try to outwit crooked county commissioner Boss Hogg. One of the most memorable parts of the show is the boys' car, The General Lee, the bright orange 1969 Dodge Charger, that is often seen speeding across dirt tracks and making ridiculous jumps to get the boys out of trouble.

The full theme tune is...

"Just the good ol' boys,
Never meanin' no harm.
Beats all you've ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born.

Straight'nin' the curve,
Flat'nin' the hills.
Someday the mountain might get 'em, but the law never will.

Makin' their way,
The only way they know how.
That's just a little bit more than the law will allow.

Just good ol' boys,
Wouldn't change if they could.
Fightin' the system like a true modern day Robin Hood."

"Your letter was only the start of it,
One letter and now you're part of it.
Now you've done it,
Jim has fixed it for you,

The one one thing that you always want to do.
Now you've done it,
Jim has fixed it for you,
And you and you and you."

The full theme tune is...

"Some people stand in the darkness,
Afraid to step into the light.
Some people need to help somebody,
When the edge of surrender's in sight.

Don't you worry,
It's gonna be alright.
Cause I'm always ready,
I won't let you out of my sight.

I'll be ready,
I'll be ready.
Never you fear,
No don't you fear.
I'll be ready,
Forever and always,
I'm always here.

In us we all have the power,
But sometimes it's so hard to see.
And instinct is stronger than reason,
It's just human nature to me.

Don't you worry,
Its gonna be alright.
Cause I'm always ready,
I won't let you out of my sight.

I'll be ready,
I'll be ready.
Never you fear,
No don't you fear.
I'll be ready,
Forever and always,
I'm always here.

Cause I'm always ready,
I won't let you out of my sight

I'll be ready,
I'll be ready.
Never you fear,
No don't you fear.
I'll be ready,
Forever and always,
I'm always here.

Forever and always,
I'm always here."

And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there,
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air.

In west Philadelphia born and raised,
On the playground where I spent most of my days.
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool,
And all shooting some b-ball outside of the school.
When a couple of guys who were up to no good,
Started making trouble in my neighborhood.
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared,
And said you're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air.

I whistled for a cab and when it came near the
License plate said 'Fresh' and had dice in the mirror.
If anything I could say that this cab was rare,
But I thought now forget it, yo home to Bel Air.

I pulled up to a house about seven or eight,
And I yelled to the cabbie, yo Holmes smell ya later.
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there,
To sit on my throne as the prince of Bel Air."

"So no one told you life was gonna be this way.
Your job's a joke, you're broke, your love life's D.O.A.
It's like you're always stuck in second gear.
When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month, or even your year, but,

I'll be there for you,
(When the rain starts to pour).
I'll be there for you,
(Like I've been there before).
I'll be there for you,
('Cause you're there for me too).

You're still in bed at ten and work began at eight,
You've burned your breakfast, so far things are going great.
Your mother warned you there'd be days like these,
But she didn't tell you when the world has brought you down to your knees that,

I'll be there for you,
(When the rain starts to pour).
I'll be there for you,
(Like I've been there before).
I'll be there for you,
('Cause you're there for me too).

No one could ever know me,
No one could ever see me,
Seems you're the only one who knows what it's like to be me.
Someone to face the day with, make it through all the rest with,
Someone I'll always laugh with,
Even at my worst, I'm best with you, yeah!

It's like you're always stuck in second gear,
When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month, or even your year.

I'll be there for you,
(When the rain starts to pour).
I'll be there for you,
(Like I've been there before).
I'll be there for you,
('Cause you're there for me too).

I'll be there for you,
(When the rain starts to pour).
I'll be there for you,
(Like I've been there before).
I'll be there for you,
('Cause you're there for me too)."
