Located near the busy A1 road, it is estimated that around 33 million people see the sculpture each year.
2. Arthur's Seat

Answer: Edinburgh

Formed from the remains of a volcano, Arthur's Seat is the highest of a group of hills that make up Holyrood Park.

It is 251m tall at its highest point, and provides an excellent view of the city.
3. Eden Project

Amongst its many attractions is the world's largest rainforest in captivity!
4. Spinnaker Tower

Answer: Portsmouth

Taller than both the London Eye and Blackpool Tower, the Spinnaker Tower stands 170m tall, and is the centrepiece of the redevelopment of Portsmouth Harbour.

Visitors to Portsmouth can also see Henry VIII's favourite warship, the Mary Rose, which was raised from the Solent in 1982.
5. Stonehenge

Answer: Wiltshire

Located approximately 8 miles from Salisbury, Stonehenge is one of the most iconic sights in the UK.

Believed to have been constructed some time between 3000 BC and 2000 BC, the stone circles are built from two main types of rock. The larger rocks are sandstone, whilst the smaller rocks are bluestone.
6. Giant's Causeway

Answer: County Antrim

Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986, the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland is made up of around 40,000 black basalt columns sticking out of the sea.

Legend has it that it was carved from the coast by the mighty giant, Finn McCool who left behind the Giant's Boot and Wishing Chair, which can also been seen at the site.
7. The White Cliffs of Dover

Answer: Kent

Composed mainly of soft, white chalk, the White Cliffs of Dover are part of the North Downs formation on the Kent coastline facing France.

They were immortalised in the 1942 Vera Lynn version of the World War II song written by Walter Kent and Nat Burton.
8. Balmoral Castle

Answer: Aberdeenshire

Located on the Balmoral Estate in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, Balmoral Castle is the private residence of Queen Elizabeth II.

Around 85,000 people visit Balmoral each year, and the estate maintains and restores footpaths throughout the property for visiting hikers.
9. The Needles

Answer: Isle Of Wight

The Needles is a row of three chalk stacks rising out of the sea off the western extremity of the Isle of Wight near Alum Bay.

The Needles form the western tip of a band of chalk that crosses the centre of the Isle of Wight, stretching to Culver Cliff in the east.
10. Big Ben

Answer: London

It is a common misconception that "Big Ben" is the name of the clock tower itself, however it is actually the nickname of the Great Bell within the clock.

Now officially known as the Elizabeth Tower (after a renaming in 2012 to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee), the tower is part of the Palace of Westminster, which is the meeting place of the two houses of Parliament of the United Kingdom (House of Commons and House of Lords).
