A series "CSI: Los Angeles" was once considered, but never materialized into a weekly series.
The original series, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", starred William Petersen as Gil Grissom and Marg Helgenberger as his co-worker, Catherine Willows, and was based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In 2002, a spin-off series, "CSI: Miami" was developed, starring David Caruso as Lt. Horatio Caine and Emily Proctor as Calleigh Duquesne. The series was based in Miami, Florida.
2004 saw the launch of the third series, "CSI: NY", was based in New York City, and starred Gary Sinise as Detective Mac Taylor and Melinda Kanakeredes as Detective Stella Bonasera.

O'Neill reprises the role of the dead-pan, serious Joe Friday in an updated version of one of television's most popular crime series, "Dragnet". Joe Friday was a tough but fair, dedicated detective for the Los Angeles Police Department.
O'Neill's versing of the classic series was the fourth incarnation of the series on television.
"Dragnet" originally aired in 1951, and ran for eight seasons. The series returned for another four seasons, starting in 1967. Both series starred the series creator, Jack Webb, in the lead role.
In 1989, the series returned to syndication television with Jeff Osterhage starring in the lead role as LAPD sergeant Vic Daniels, and ran for two seasons.
The 2003 version of "Dragnet" co-starred Ethan Embry as Friday's partner, Detective Frank Smith, and ran for two seasons.
This was not the first time that O'Neill and Embry worked together. As a 13 year old, Embry co-starred with O'Neill in the 1991 film, "Dutch".

At stake is a cash prize of $500,000.00 for the contestant who outlast the others.

"The Bachelor" debuted on March 25, 2002. For this show, a group of 25 women vie for the attention and love of one lucky male. Contestants are eliminated from the competition each week until the bachelor makes his choice.

"Joe Millionaire" first appeared on January 5, 2003. Similar to the premise of "the Bachelor", 20 women compete for the attention of a single male, who is believed (by the contestants) to be worth 50 million dollars. This show also provides a surprising twist at the end for the winner.

"The Apprentice" made its initial appearance on January 8, 2004. For this show, contestants perform various business task and assignments, with the final contestant being offered the opportunity to work as the apprentice to Billionaire Donald Trump. Trump became known for his personal appearance in the final scene of each episode. In a corporate boardroom setting, Trump presided over the meeting of the remaining contestants, and ended the session by informing the contestant to be eliminated, "You're fired", which became his personal catchphrase. At the end of the competition when only two contestants remained, Trump change his pronouncement by informing the winning contestant, "You're hired"..
