"Lois and Clark" (a.k.a. "The New Adventures of Superman") ran from 1993 to 97. The series focused less on the superhero aspects of Superman and more on his personal life, especially his relationship with Lois Lane (Teri Hatcher). Dean started out to be a pro American football player, but a knee injury put an end to that.
After this series ended, Dean went on to form his own production company, Angry Dragon Entertainment, and had prominent roles is many theatrical movies.

"Breaking Bad" centered on the life of a high school chemistry teacher, Walter White (Bryan Cranston) who finds out he has a terminal illness. As luck would have it, Walter's sister is married to a DEA officer, Hank Schrader, played by Dean Norris. Norris also starred in the TV series "Under the Dome" and such theatrical movies as "Little Miss Sunshine", Lethal Weapon 2" and "Starship Troopers".
3. Dean Stockwell

Stockwell started out as a child actor in such films as "Kim", "The Boy with Green Hair", "Stars in My Crown" and "The Secret Garden". In the 1960s he semi-retired from show business, but resurfaced in the late 60s as a guest star in several TV series and low-budget movies.
In 1989, he was cast at Admiral Al Calavicci in the sci-fi series "Quantum Leap" which ran until 1993. He was nominated for several TV awards for his work on that series.
4. Richard Dean Anderson

"SG-1" was a spin-off of 1994 sci-fi movie "Stargate". In this series, the title of which refers to a device that allows transport to other planets, Anderson played Jack O'Neill and is in charge of the Stargate team. Anderson's big break-out role, however, was the action/adventure TV series "MacGyver" which ran from 1985-92 in which he played a clever and ingenious secret agent, Angus MacGyver, who could construct helpful devices from seemingly unrelated objects.
5. Dean Jagger

Mr. Novak (James Franciscus) was a Los Angeles high school English teacher who became involved in the personal lives of students and fellow teachers. The series ran for 2 seasons (1963-65) and won a Peabody Award in 1963. In it, Jagger played the principal of Jefferson High School, Albert Vane. Jagger was mainly a theatrical film star appearing in "The Nun's Story", "Twelve O'Clock High", "White Christmas" and "Elmer Gantry" to name a few, but also appeared as a guest star on many TV programs. He won a daytime Emmy for his work on "This is the Life" and stayed active in show business until just a few year before his death in 1991 at age 87.
6. Dean Jones

Always wanting to be in show business, Dean ran his own radio show out of Decatur, IL while still in high school. After a stint in the U.S. Navy, he gravitated to the theater and starred along side the likes of Jane Fonda and Jack Lemmon. In 1963, he was cast as the clever, manipulative Navy officer, Ensign O'Toole in a one-season TV series.
After that he went on to star in several Disney movies, dozens of other theatrical films and TV shows. He also recorded a record album and wrote a book in 1982 "Under Running Laughter".
7. Dean Butler

Butler, who had the recurring role of Almanzo Wilder on the long-running drama "Little House on the Prairie", is not only an actor, but a producer of various genre programs. He started out with a small role in the TV police drama "The Streets of San Fransisco" and has also acted on the stage.
He had become so identified with the "Little House" franchise, he had produced, directed and narrated bonus DVDs to supplement the TV show's discs and also some documentaries on the series.
8. Jimmy Dean

Jimmy, mainly known for his country music, hosted an eponymous variety show from 1963 to 1966 on which appeared some big-name country music stars and surprisingly some Muppet characters with which he would converse. Josh would drop in from time to time to visit with the Boone's.

"The Lone Gunmen" (March to June 2001) was a short-lived spin-off of sci-fi series, "The X-Files". They were three men who are conspiracy theory investigators and computer hackers. Along with Dean as the character Richard Langley, the other two stars were Bruce Harwood as John Byers and Tom Briadwood as Melvin Frohike, who assist FBI agents Mulder and Scully with some of their investigations.

"Due South" (1994-99) was a Canadian produced adventure/comedy about RCMP Constable Benton Fraser (Paul Gross) who is re-assigned to the Chicago PD.
