After eating a hearty meal, the two women look over at Fred and Ricky who are holding their stomachs. With slight disgust, Ethel tells Lucy to look over at their husbands, and Lucy replies by calling them "Porky" and "Fatso."

Fred defends his oyster eating by telling Ethel he ate so many because he was looking for a pearl to give to her, but Ricky says, "naturally," he ate the most oysters because his name has the most Rs (referring to the common rule of eating oysters only in months that contain the letter "R").

Lucy says that she has not gained a pound since she and Ricky wed. She refuses to join the "tubby little trio" that Ricky, Fred, and Ethel are a part of, but she weighs herself that night and finds out that she is now 132 pounds. Lucy frowns and says she has "gained 22 pounds in ten minutes."

When Lucy shows up to the audition, there are three girls sitting at a table, waiting to be auditioned. Soon after, another girl shows up and Lucy discovers that all the girls are much younger than her. She rolls up her pants, cardigan, and cardigan sleeves to seem like she is dressed like the young girls.

When Ricky shows up, he asks the five girls to do the time step for him as the piano plays a song.

Ethel is shocked to hear that Lucy has to lose 12 pounds in four days, but Lucy is determined to fit into the sparkly dress and dance beside Ricky in Saturday night's act.

When Lucy is done running through the apartment building and through her front door and kitchen door, she stands next to Ethel who tells her that she now holds the record for "the national indoor record for the around the fourth floor dash." Then, Ethel asks Lucy to do jumprope, but Lucy cannot even move a muscle.

When Lucy gets weighed in after running through the apartment, Ethel exclaims that Lucy has lost another five ounces, which totals almost two pounds.

Ethel brings out plates of juicy steak for Ricky, Fred, and herself, but Lucy's plate has one celery stick. She pours A1 sauce, salt, and pepper on the celery stick and slices it with her knife.

When the four of them sit down for dinner, Fred introduces his dog as Butch. Fred gives Butch a mouth-watering piece of steak while Lucy watches. Lucy tells Ricky, Ethel, and Fred that she needs to leave the house and pretends to leave, but actually crawls onto the floor and under the table. Ricky decides that he needs to give Butch a piece of steak, too, and Lucy pushes Butch away to eat it.

She ends up licking Ricky's hand, too! But, soon enough, Lucy gets caught after wrestling with Butch for the piece of steak under the table. Also, this is the only episode that Fred has a dog, because in the episode, "Little Ricky Gets A Dog," it is mentioned that there are no pets allowed in the apartment bulding. (Thanks for the reminder, Tolkienist!) But, Fred could not kick Little Ricky's puppy out because Little Ricky had named it after Fred.

Answer: Lucy locks her in a utility closet.

In the final scene, Lucy is seen lying on a stretcher, with a doctor and Ricky standing beside her. The doctor says that she has to stay in bed for three days because she is suffering from malnutrition. While Lucy is being wheeled out, she hands Ethel a key and points to the door behind her. Ethel opens the door, and it shows the dancer tied up with a gag, stuck in the sink of the utility closet.
