While Aimee and the twins are accessories after the fact, it's made clear that Jill is the culprit. Aimee feels bad for Kevin and asks Jill to return the doll, but it's the twins who later leave it on Kevin's doorstep.

The return of the doll is one of the few humorous scenes in the show so far. As the twin who left the doll is heading back to the car, Kevin opens the door. The twin gets spooked and starts running to the car screaming, "Go go go!". His brother complies and takes off...without him.

Answer: She's pregnant with Holy Wayne's child

We find out that they've now been on the run for six weeks with no word from Holy Wayne. Tom is starting to question his commitment to protect Christine and her unborn child.

Answer: Attacked by a stranger

Tom and Christine are in what looks like a hostel, when they're approached by a man asking why Christine is in his dreams. He becomes violent and tells Christine that he's seen her walking over the dead, and that they're all in white. He attacks Christine, Tom pulls him off her, and beats him before hurrying Christine away. The stranger yells after her, "I know what's inside you", hinting again that Christine has a greater purpose.

Tom takes Christine to the hospital to be sure she and the baby are ok.

We don't learn much about the Barefoot People other than they want to be taken if there's another vanishing. They mark their foreheads with bullseyes and go barefoot. Since they're generally invisible to non cult members, Tom uses a bullseye on his forehead to sneak back into the hospital and get Christine.

Tom scoffs at the pamphlet and the GR members. When he's alone again he contemplates walking away from Christine if he doesn't hear from Holy Wayne.Just as he's about to abandon Christine, his phone rings. It turns out to be a robo-call from The Loved Ones, an organization that creates bereavement figures.

The figures are life size and lifelike reproductions of Departed loved ones that can be used for burial or cremation. Tom convinces himself Holy Wayne made the call happen.

Answer: Meg and Laurie

As Meg isn't yet a full GR member, she is still allowed to speak. Laurie brings Meg with her to Kevin's so Meg can be her voice. Laurie has written a letter that she has Meg read to Kevin while she sits silently by.

Part of Laurie's letter to Kevin says, "You fixed another man's mess. My mess. You raised Tom as if he were your own and you loved him even when he wouldn't let you." We've yet to see Kevin and Tom together, so we don't yet know what their current relationship is like.

Kevin is furious when he sees the divorce papers and starts yelling at Laurie. It's during this rant we find out that Laurie has only been a full fledged member of the GR for six months, although it's been three years since the Departure.

Jill walks in while Kevin is screaming at Laurie and gives her mother a gift. It's a cigarette lighter engraved with "Don't forget me". Although clearly affected by the gift, Laurie drops it down a grate on the street (GR members are not allowed personal possessions). She winds up going back later to try to retrieve it.

As Tom and Christine are heading out of town, the bus is brought to a halt by bodies scattered across the roadway. Christine gets off the bus to wander among them. It turns out they're bereavement figures from the Loved Ones company, and they're all wrapped in white.

Christine yells, "Hey, Tom. They're all in white. It's just like the dream!"

Answer: Breaking into homes and stealing all the photos

Early in the episode, Kevin had brought Patti (head of the Mapleton GR) in to the station to ask her not to show up at the holiday dance. Pleading that families just want to relax and enjoy themselves for a few hours, Patti's response is a note that reads "There is no family".

During the dance, while families were away from their homes, GR members broke into houses all over town. They stole all the photos - from walls, refrigerators, tabletops, etc; leaving just empty picture frames behind.
