When Michael is telling Lindsay about his plans for the new subdivision, all that she can think about is buying a tub of 'Diamond Cream' for $400. Michael decides to have a ribbon-cutting ceremony to take the time and earn money for the rest of the houses. This is he same tactic that George Sr. once used.

In the previous season, George Michael met Ann at the banana stand, and since then, they've been hanging out together. He finds it cute that she squirts mayonnaise into her mouth and eats a hard-boiled egg with it, and he wonders if he should buy some of the 'Diamond Cream' for her.

Michael brings his business model to work the following day and Gob tries to present it to the board, but Michael wants to take credit for it. When playing 'Rock, Paper, Scissors', Michael always chooses rock because he feels that it should beat everything, and Gob beats him with paper.

When Gob goes to a boat show, he meets a woman who is holding a sign in front of a boat and he asks for her number. After a bit of confusion, Gob ends up buying the boat in order to get the number. Meanwhile, Lucille is already trying to get Oscar to move out of her apartment.

In the previous episode, "The One Where Michael Leaves", Buster is enrolled in the army when Lucille is confronted by a documentary film crew. During his physical, he tries to make it seem like he can't join the army, but he realizes that he underestimates the country's need for soldiers when he's fitted for a uniform.

Answer: In the pantry

Buster rushes home to tell Lucille that the army continued to recruit him even after trying to ruin his physical, and Oscar suggests cutting off his pinky. Lucille decides that it would be a good time to cut off her relationship with Oscar, but soon after, she gets back together with him.

After telling the company's board of directors about the business model that he has, Gob decides to step it up a notch and have the house built in a quarter of the time. He ends up bringing Starla (the boat model) into the company as the new 'business model', and uses the slogan "Solid as a Rock".

Answer: A homeless man

While Lucille is walking with Oscar on the beach, he decides to kiss her, and a home video captures everything. Meanwhile, Lindsay is dealing with her own 'homeless man'. When she decides to get a date before the ribbon-cutting ceremony, she ends up meeting a homeless guy, and inspired by her mother's example, she decides that homeless or not, she's going to date him.

Answer: Gob

Michael, forced to finish the exterior of the fake house within two weeks, bring George Michael along to help, and he also has Oscar come along. Buster also joins in to try and get himself hurt (although most of the time he ends up hurting Oscar). This way he can leave the army.

The last member of the team is Tom Jane, Lindsay's homeless guy, who's really a famous actor who is researching for his roles in the movies "Junk" and "Homeless Dad".

When Gob cuts the ribbon, the house ends up falling apart. Buster, seeing this event as a way to get out of the army attempts to get squashed by a wall, but it ends up missing them. Meanwhile, inside the collapsing house, Lucille and Oscar are together, Buster finds out their secret and decides to join the army.
In the end, George Sr. is captured by the Mexican police who arrest him for selling the Cornballer.
