He lasted quite a while before Sam left him to blow up along with the rest of his planet. And of course there was Martouf who appeared first in 'The Tok'ra'- She later shot and killed him.

Then came Ambassador Joe Faxon who fist appeared in '2010'- She left him to die with the Aschen. Finally there was Orlin who was in 'Ascension' who re-ascended after getting shot! Now I know Pete exists in season 7 starting with 'Chimera' but something's got to happen to him. Jack and Sam need to end up together!

You know the guys of 'Stargate' don't seem to have much luck. Teal'c's wife Drey'auc and his lover Shan'auc died. Jack O'Neill's son Charlie shot himself. Hammond's wife died of cancer. Daniel Jackson had both Sha're and Sarah taken over by the Goa'uld (admittedly only Sha're died-and Teal'c killed her). Jonas Quinn seems to have got away with it for the time being. And Carter's the black widow. If Jack and Sam ever get together I'm afraid she'll kill him.

No giggling.' line. This episode finally addresses it. They are sooo cute and need to end up together.
