Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Dimitri and Edmund went to trial in the Fall of 1997 in order to determine custody of Maddie Grey. At the trial, Edmund replaced Dimitri's pain pills with amphetamines to make him look unstable and therefore unable to care for a child.

Answer: False

Dimitri and Edmund had a bitterly fought custody battle to see who would get to raise Maddie Grey. In one scene, when nobody was looking around, Dimitri switched Edmund's prescribed painkillers with amphetamines. When Edmund took a couple pills, he started to show signs of aggression and agitation.

The judge then rendered a verdict of placing Maddie in Dimitri's care. Edmund eventually regained custody of Maddie after it was revealed that he, not Dimitri, was her biological father.
2. Kendall went on trial for murdering Michael Cambias in January of 2004. Who was the presiding judge in that case?

Answer: Hannah Lampert

Kendall realized that Bianca murdered Michael Cambias so she managed to make it look like she killed Michael in order to spare her sister a major prison sentence. The judge who presided over the case was Hannah Lampert and this was mentioned multiple times.

After it was ruled that Kendall did not kill Michael and that Bianca killed him in self defense, all charges were dropped against Kendall while the District Attorney refused to prosecute Bianca.
3. Who represented Jake Martin in his suing Liza Colby for custody of Colby in 2000?

Answer: Leslie Coulson

Jake Martin wanted to have sole custody of Colby so he went after Liza for it. He retained Leslie Coulson's services for the trial and ended up victorious. However, Liza blurted out that Adam, not Jake, was Colby's biological father. This devastated Jake so much that he left town for six months.
4. Who was Kendall's attorney when she was accused of burning down Erica's home in 2002?

Answer: Trey Kenyon

Kendall was the prime suspect in the arson committed on Erica's home so she was arrested and Trey agreed to take her case. During the trial, Erica made mention that there was evidence which made Kendall innocent of the crime. She brought forth this evidence and therefore Kendall was acquitted.
5. In February of 2005, Bianca testified at the trial involving JR Chandler and Babe Carey seeking custody of AJ Chandler.

Answer: True

JR and Babe fought bitterly for custody of AJ Chandler after it was revealed that Babe had kept Bianca from her daughter, Miranda, for nearly a year. At the custody hearing, Bianca took the stand to offer some testimony which was relevant to the case.

While she despised Babe for what she done, she still felt in the end that she would have made a better parent to AJ than JR would. However, the judge sided with JR and awarded him custody.
6. In the early 1980s, who went on trial for murdering Sybil Thorne?

Answer: Cliff Warner

Sybil turned up dead and Cliff was the prime suspect so he went on trial for her murder. At the trial, Erica testified that she knew Cliff was with Sybil the night she was killed. However, Cliff was acquitted after it was revealed that Sean Cudahy murdered Sybil.
7. In 1991, Erica asked which person to lie at her and Travis's custody trial regarding Bianca?

Answer: Jack Montgomery

Erica was desperate to hold onto custody of Bianca after she and Travis officially divorced for the second time. At the hearing, she begged Jack to lie under oath in order for her to get custody of he daughter. Jack refused to do it and this was exposed at the trial. Erica obviously lost custody of Bianca to Travis.

9. In the summer of 2006, who fought to hold a competency trial for Lily to make her be deemed not to be of adult capacity in order to render her marriage to Jonathan Lavery as invalid?

Answer: Jack Montgomery

Jack was aghast after Lily went through with her plans to marry Jonathan in New York City upon turning eighteen years of age. He decided that the best way to get this union nullified was to have her go on trial and declared incompetent. At the trial, Jonathan told Lily in private that he had faked being challenged, which broke Lily's heart. Jack asked that the trial end since Jonathan promised him he would divorce Lily, which he did shortly afterwards.
10. Who was Brooke's attorney when she went on trial for killing Jim Thomasen?
