In the beginning of the episode, the man with the scars talks to the corpse of his father, which he keeps in a shed that is part of his house. He then goes into his house with his dog and greets a woman. The woman lives with him and is his romantic partner.

He speaks to the corpse in an American language and speaks to his partner with a British accent. He and his lover then have an intimate scene.

Answer: They show him the videotape

Marty and Rust hold Geraci captive on a boat and demand details of the Marie Fontenot case. They show him the nasty videotape and then Geraci starts talking. He tells them that he was Ted Childress was behind everything as he was his boss. He says that Childress changed the report to say that it was erroneous. Geraci says he just followed orders and didn't know anything but got transferred on Ted's recommendation.

Answer: By making a sniper shoot at his car

Rust tells Geraci that if anything happens to them he would release all the information. Geraci responds to this threat with a threat of his own. Rust then tells him that if he or Marty were hurt before the end of the case, he would make sure that he was dead too by sending a sniper behind him. Geraci doesn't believe him and Rust signals for shots to be fired and the gunman fires at Geraci's vehicle.

Answer: 250 dollars

Marty and Rust find a link between the man with the green face and a house that was repainted. They go to the house and ask a boy who was living there in 1995. The boy tells them that their grandmother would know but she was in a nursing home. The men go there and ask the old lady if she had her house repainted at that time and if she remembered anything about the men who painted them.

She tells them about one of the men having scars on his face. They then ask her if her husband paid his taxes and trace the painting company from his bills.

Answer: Papania

Marty tells Papania that he would call him if they come across something. Papania first questions why Rust and he are being all secretive and then asks them why he chose him and not Gilbough. Marty tells him that he can't read Gilbough but was able to read him. Papania agrees to his idea and tells Marty to call him if they find anything.

Answer: Errol's romantic partner

The woman opens the door and doesn't let Marty in. She tells Marty that it isn't Billy Childress' house. Marty tries to force his way into the house and the dog suddenly runs the other way. Rust orders Marty to clear the house and Rust goes in the direction the dog ran. Rust goes that way and see the dog dead.

He sees Errol, the man with the scars, at a distance and asks him to stand down. Errol runs off into the tunnels.

Answer: Carcosa

Rust is taken through a maze of trees and tunnels. Marty talks to the woman and he says that the man will come for you and he is the worst person ever. Marty runs towards Rust and goes into the shed and sees the corpse of William Childress, Errol's father.

Then he too enters the maze of trees and tunnels. Rust makes his way hearing the sound of Errol's voice. He sees twig sculptures all over the place.

Answer: Rust

Rust reaches a room where a twig sculpture is in a yellow cloth. Rust sees a weird vortex and suddenly, Errol jumps out and stabs Rust. Marty then comes in firing and Errol throws a small axe at Marty which wounds him. Marty fights Errol and then Rust shoots Errol and kills him. Marty tells Rust that everything will be okay. Both men lie wounded on the ground when the police arrive at the scene.

Answer: Lafayette General Hospital

Marty wakes up in the hospital. Maggie and his kids come to see him. He breaks down while talking to them. He asks about Rust only to know that Rust was still in a coma. He then goes to see Rust in a wheelchair. Rust complains that he shouldn't be in the hospital.

He also tells Marty that he saw Errol before in Pelican Island in 1995 but couldn't identify him then. Rust takes longer than Marty to recover and later Marty comes to visit Rust.

Answer: Cigarettes

Marty tells Rust that he will figure out where Rust can stay after he gets out of the hospital. Marty gives Rust some cigarettes as a gift. They go to a corner and have smoke. Rust tells Marty that throughout this whole ordeal he felt the love of his late daughter and father. Rust then breaks down. Rust then asks Marty to take him away from the hospital and Marty does help him with that.
