Efrem Zimbalist Jr. (1918-2014) was an American actor best known on television for his roles on the series "77 Sunset Strip" (1958-1964) and "The F. B. I."(1965-1974). In "77 Sunset Strip" he played the role as a detective and a former government secret agent, Stuart "Stu" Bailey. His partner was Jeff Spencer (Roger Smith). The show also introduced the wisecracking and hair combing Gerald Lloyd "Kookie" Kookson III (Edd Byrnes) as a valet parking attendant. In "The F.B.I." series Efrem Zimbalist Jr. played the role of FBI agent Lewis Erskine.

Jack Webb (1920-1982) was an American actor, producer, director and screenwriter. He is most famous for the television series which he created "Dragnet" in which he played detective Sgt. Joe Friday of the Los Angeles Police Department. 'Dragnet" was originally a radio series (1949-1957 - 314 episodes), television (1951-1959 - 276 episodes) and a revived series (1967-1970 - 98 episodes).

Although he played the role of James Bond in seven feature films from 1973-1985, he had a number of roles in television series and films in the 1950s and 1960s. His first television success was the leading role in the series "Ivanhoe" (1958-59) and that was followed by other series including "The Alaskans", "Maverick" and then his successful role as Simon Templar in the spy thriller "The Saint" (1962-1969).
