After the previous episode, "Best Man for the Gob", the Bluth Company had recently unfrozen some funds. In the beginning of this episode, Michael is trying to figure out how to disperse the funds while Lindsay wants to use some in order to prepare for an affair. She says that she needs a set of lingerie, waxing, and makeovers.

Lucille sent Buster to get an operation because his jaw clicks when he eats. She says that it's probably what drives friends away, and she plans on using the recently unfrozen money in order to pay for the treatment. Michael attempts to get Buster a bit of independence by telling Lucille that she is trying to prevent him from leaving.

Michael decided that instead of having one whistle-blower in the company, he'd have a whole bunch. When he gave everyone at the meeting some whistles, he ended up collecting them again when people wouldn't stop playing with them. All but two were returned in the end.

Gob is angry because his new wife is more attracted to Tobias than she is to him, so she decides she's going to quit her seal trading job and enlist in the army like her brother. Gob doesn't want to live on the $800 salary that's sent home by the army, so he also asks Michael for some of the money in the company.

Alex is also leaving because of the war and Lindsay is stunned both because her favourite stylist and good friend is leaving and because she hadn't hears of the war. She decides to take action and protest.

Both Maeby and George Michael end up seeing Oscar passing by the banana stand and they think that it's George Sr. escaping from prison. Before running into Oscar, Michael runs into Tobias and Gob at the same coffee shop and they talk about their investments.

In order to make a good investment while helping out his uncle, Michael decides to buy a hundred acres of Oscar's land with the company money. When he tells George Sr. about the deal, he realizes that the army sends its tanks through the property, and it's not a good place to build houses.

After Gob and Tobias create their company, Michael says that there may not be enough funds for the investment because of the bad land deal. The two are angry with the idea and Michael says that he'll try and straighten it out.

After Michael visits Lucille for no reason, she ends up trying to make everything better, so she drives to Oscar's trailer and gets him to give back the money in return for the land. She also buys out the whistle-blower's shares in order to prevent him from bringing down the company.

To prevent anything else from happening to the company, and to spend more time with Michael, Lucille places herself on the board of directors at the Bluth Company. In the end, nothing is known about the fate of Gobias Industries, and George Michael and Maeby find out that George Sr. hasn't broken out of prison.
