Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Throughout the worlds you can find extra lives. What are they in the form of?

Answer: Trophies

Extra lives are shaped as a Banjo Trophy, and if you happen to lose all of your lives, Grunty will succeed and it will be game over. These are often found in tricky to reach or odd places, and they're rarely, if ever, in plain sight. Extra lives are counted on the top left corner of your screen, and one is lost every time you run out of Honeycombs.
2. How many Empty Honeycombs are needed to add another Honeycomb to your life meter?

Answer: Six

There are two Empty Honeycombs in each world excluding Gruntilda's Lair and Grunty's Furnace Fun. In fact, you can begin the game with an extra Honeycomb for your life meter if you can locate and collect all six Honeycomb pieces around Spiral Mountain. If you happen to enter the last Note Door and complete the puzzle, you can double the amount of life you have.
3. To open new worlds you need Jiggies. How many Jiggies are in the game?

Answer: One hundred

There are ten Jiggies in each area excluding Grunty's Furnace Fun and Spiral Mountain and to fully complete the game, you should be left with two extra Jiggies. Jiggies are used to complete large puzzles found on the walls of Grunty's Lair, and when completed a world depicted in the puzzle will open for you.

There are nine worlds, and each one contains a switch with Grunty's face on it. Pound the switch and a Jiggy will appear in Grunty's Lair.
4. Mumbo Tokens are needed in order for you to transform into different things. Which world only has five Mumbo tokens in it?

Answer: Mumbo's Mountain

In order to transform into a Termite in the first world of the game, you need to collect all five tokens from around Mumbo's Mountain. The only other world containing just five Mumbo Tokens is Clanker's Cavern, but that world does not contain Mumbo's Hut. Throughout the worlds, Mumbo Tokens range from five to fifteen though in the final hut, Mumbo requires twenty-five.
5. The first feather Kazooie learns to use is red. It's used on the Flight Pad, and for which other Banjo-Kazooie technique?

Answer: Beak Bomb

The Beak Bomb is a technique taught by Bottles in Freezeezy Peak. To perform this technique, you need to be in flight. Press B and Kazooie will shoot you and Banjo in the direction you are facing. This is used to hit switches or move much faster through a stage. If you happen to hit a large obstacle or wall, you will not only take damage, but you're likely to fall to the ground and lose your flight. One Beak Bomb costs one Red Feather, as does each time you use a Flight Pad or flap your wings to fly higher.
6. Joker Cards are only found in Grunty's Furnace Fun. What do they do during this small game?

Answer: Allow you to skip over an unanswered question

During Grunty's Furnace Fun, you can collect two Joker Cards if you correctly answer a question on the Joker Card space. These will allow you to skip over any space on the board (including Skull spaces) in order to reach the end faster. These have no purpose outside of Grunty's Furnace Fun, and although they're given in sets of two, you use them one at a time.
7. There are one thousand Notes in the game.

Answer: False

Due to the fact that there are only nine worlds in the game that are accessed by completing a puzzle with Jiggies, and since there are only one hundred Notes in each world, there are only nine hundred notes in the game. These Notes are needed to open Note Doors throughout Grunty's Lair. Once you leave a world, the amount of Notes you collected is recorded and used, but you must collect them all over again if you need to collect more.
8. All enemies will only give you one Honeycomb if you defeat them.

Answer: False

Some enemies will give you two if you defeat them in certain ways. For example, using the Beak Buster attack on a Snippit (crab) from Treasure Trove Cove or Clanker's Cavern will result in a second Honeycomb and using the alligator transformation to attack the creatures of Bubblegloop Swamp will do the same. Some enemies won't give Honeycombs at all!
9. What colour feathers are needed to use the Wonderwing?

Answer: Gold

The Wonderwing technique is taught inside Clanker in Clanker's Cavern and it makes use of the golden feathers scattered through the game. While using the Wonderwing, Banjo and Kazooie can plow right through enemies without taking damage, but since gold feathers are quite rare to come by, I suggest using the skill only when necessary.
10. How many different ways can Kazooie fire eggs?

Answer: Two

In Mumbo's Mountain, Kazooie can learn to shoot eggs. One way is by holding Z and pressing C-Up. This will let Kazooie shoot an egg from her mouth. The other involves Z and C-Down. This way will let Kazooie shoot eggs from the other end. Eggs are used to hit switches, attack enemies, and feed certain characters. Because they are used so often in the game, they are possibly the most abundant object found on the journey along with red feathers.
