A witch doctor changes Clayton into a ball of clay because Clayton's father, a scientist, would not give the witch doctor his serum. The game follows Clayton on his journey through his backyard, the Pacific, Japan, and Africa where he finally meets the witch doctor. Unfortunately, Clayton must then go to outer space to recover the last of the serum and finally become human again.

Oozy the rat is the first animal the player has the opportunity to transform into. Oozy attacks using his roar, and is the fastest "Claymate" in the game.

Globmeister comes in very handy against the first boss, who is a flying dog. He can also dig into the ground to access hidden areas. He's rather lacking in speed and jumping ability, however, so the player must take care not to get surrounded by enemies.

Answer: Cape Claynaveral

Cape Claynaveral is the first level in the Pacific region. Goopy can only survive on land for ten seconds before losing his power. However, underwater he is the only "Claymate" that can survive indefinitely. His main attack consists of shooting air bubbles at enemies.

The cat's name is Muckster, and is perhaps the most well-rounded "Claymate" of them all. His scratch attack has decent range, and his speed and jumping ability are very good. In addition, Muckster can climb many vertical structures such as trees.

Doh-doh is a green bird. With enough momentum he can flap his wings four times and gain limited altitude. Other than that Doh-doh is largely sub-par. He can't swim, run fast, or jump high, and his attack has limited range.

Streets of Clay is the third level in the game in which you must run along wires and avoid the electric charge. Cape Claynaveral is level 5, the first level in the Pacific and the first level to have a water theme. Spacestation Clayvius is not until the end of the game.

Instead of allowing the player to save, the game has certain secret warp points throughout the game. For example, jumping four times in front of the first flower in Clayton's Yard takes you straight to Cape Claynaveral. If you make it to Cape Claynaveral the long way, you can find this information in a message box hidden somewhere in the level.

By beating levels and collecting the letters C, L, A, and Y at the end of each level, you gain access to a pinball type bonus game. You may collect one letter per level, so you must beat a minimum of four levels to access the pinball bonus game. Collecting 100 gems per level gives you access to the second bonus game in which you must bounce Clayton off the appropriate square on a 4x4 grid sixteen times to earn an extra life.

The robots travel the world map, and the player must guide them to gather tools (axes, bombs, etc.) in order to open a path to the next level. To guide these robots, Clayton must use items such as mine carts, boulders and warp pads.
