Answer: Sheep

When Vincent falls asleep and visits his Nightmare world he'll still be a human creature though he'll have ram ears poking out of his head. In addition, every being he meets and speaks with in this world will be a sheep though they'll claim they are human and everyone else is a sheep. In other words, everyone is a lost sheep.
Sheep play a major role in the game, firstly for dehumanizing men, secondly for being integral in one of the main locations of the game; the bar the guys frequent is known as the Stray Sheep.
Many of the sheep in the Nightmares have a defining accessory or hairdo so you can often identify who they are in reality.

Answer: Mystic Pillow

Perhaps the most important piece of equipment to be used in the Nightmare stages is the Mystic Pillow, an item which, when found, is used to let Vincent retry a stage or revive himself from the start/checkpoint if he falls off the block towers. It's imperative that you have at least a few of these; some of the later levels can be quite trying. If you pick up a Mystic Pillow mid-level, you'll actually earn two retries, so if you continuously plummet to your death, you may be able to benefit if you're clever. You may also choose to buy a pillow off the numismatist sheep waiting between each stage.

Answer: Cell phone

Your cell phone is accessed by pressing the triangle button and from the menu therein, you can access your text messages, the save screen, and any records you've accumulated (by which I mean trophies). You can also use the trophy screen to revisit past stages of the game and hone your skills. The cell phone plays a major role in the game, at least during Vincent's waking hours.

He can respond to text messages as he sees fit and he'll receive trophy updates from the sultry Midnight Venus. Vincent may also receive some scandalous cell phone images from Catherine, some of which he'll show the guys at the Stray Sheep.

Answer: Getting intoxicated

While enjoying some drinks with friends at the Stray Sheep, Vincent can actually improve his odds in the nightmare world. When sitting at the regular table or at the bar, the player can hit the square button in order to take a sip of whatever drink Vincent orders.

This can be a cocktail (Cuba Libre, typically), beer, sake, or whiskey. It doesn't matter which he drinks, but if he has three alcoholic beverages, he'll run faster through the levels, possibly giving you an edge you need to face your dreams. Every time Vincent finished the first of any specific drink in a night, he'll also learn a bit of trivia about it. Of course, drinking will have its effect on his balance and motor skills in the real world.

Answer: Quadrangle

The Quadrangle is the fifth nightmare world of the game and while it only contains two areas (plus a boss) it marks a point at which the puzzles turn into slippery situations. The new feature seen here is the ice block, a block on which Vincent will slide helplessly if he steps on it from a level of equal footing. If he climbs up onto it or skirts around the edges of this block, it will not cause him to trip. Other stages of the game have different additions as well.

In the Torture Chamber, for example, Vincent will encounter spike trap blocks. Later blocks include bomb blocks, heavy (dark) blocks, breakable blocks, and spring blocks.

Answer: Ant

Some say that ants are creatures that are attracted to witches, and as the story unfolds, it's clear that the concept of witchcraft may not be out of place. After waking up on one occasion, Vincent will find several ants in his bedroom leading to a cake purchased by Katherine. On the other hand, these ants will be present when Catherine spends the same night. In some of the nightmares of the game, Vincent will encounter obnoxious giant ants on the blocks; vanquishing these is usually the best course of action; they can be a real pain when they're in the way or they chase you up only to knock you down.

Answer: No

If Vincent makes it up the Spiral Staircase alive and arrives at the cathedral (as so few men do) he'll be forced to face some challenges both in his dreams and in his personal life. Inevitably, he'll come to realize that the mastermind behind the nightmares is none other than the owner of the Stray Sheep, 'The Boss', who reveals that he's done this for years to set right the proliferation of the human race, allowing them to match up properly to procreate.

He is the one who reveals that Catherine never existed; she was a succubus in Vincent's own mind.

This explains why no one else saw her throughout the entire week and why all of the texts and pictures sent by her disappear.

Answer: The Empirio

After completing the Cathedral stage, the game isn't quite over; Vincent will have to face his most difficult levels yet, one-on-one against the evil Thomas Mutton, 'The Boss'. These spheres contain Monster Blocks with the power to move on their own or push Vincent off the tower as well as Mystery Blocks, the contents of which you don't know until you tread on top.

When Vincent ascends to the top of the final tower, his fate will be decided and all of the choices made in the game thus far will influence the final outcome of the game. Will you stay with Katherine or will you opt for bachelorhood?

Answer: Colosseum Mode

Colosseum Mode is a multiplayer mode which involves two people in a split-screen nightmare challenge. Unlike Babel, which is unlocked after collecting a single golden trophy in the Golden Colosseum, Colosseum Mode involves two players opposing each other as opposed to two players working together.

In this mode, rather than play as the main characters of the game, you play as an orange sheep and a blue sheep in many of the game's existing environments.

Answer: Katherine

While the first player uses Vincent (in non-sheep form), the second player will play the role of Katherine. In this game mode, both players work cooperatively to ascend a block tower. By collecting more and more golden trophies throughout the Golden Colosseum, you can unlock more stages for Babel Mode. One trophy unlocks 'Alter', three unlocks 'Menhir', five unlocks 'Obelisk', and 'Axis Mundi' needs nine-- one from each major nightmare world of the game.

In other words, 'Axis Mundi' is the completionist's stage.
