Toan is the main character of "Dark Cloud". He uses swords and daggers. He is blessed with the power of the Atlamillia that allows him to restore destroyed parts of cities.

2. Xiao is important in dungeons, not only does she do nice damage in a battle, but even out of battle, without her ability to do this, you can get stuck. What is her "special" ability?

Answer: She can jump over gaps in the floor.

Yes, Xiao can jump over gaps in the floor. She is the first ally Toan acquires. She is a cat woman who uses slingshots to deal damage. "Xiao" means "little" or "small" in Chinese.

3. You face quite a few bosses in "Dark Cloud". Who is the first boss in "Dark Cloud" that you face that will allow you to ride him to locations once you defeat him?

Answer: Dran

Dran is the first boss in "Dark Cloud". He is on the last floor of the Divine Beast Cave, and is a giant flying dog basically. He shoots fireballs and puts holes into the floor. He's a good guy, but was under the spell of the Dark Genie, who is the main enemy of the game.

Yes. The Gallery of Time back floors were never put into the United States version. These floors hold valuable items like gems and level up powders, but the monsters are twice as strong. The item needed to get into these back floors is called "a flapping duster". The monsters in these floors also give double abs.

Muska Lacka is the hometown of your ally Ungaga, who uses spears. It has a fishing pond, and some people find it to be the hardest village to lay out when you get orders on how to rebuild the town.

Yup, Goro uses a Frozen Tuna fish for a weapon. These are found in huge chests all the time. They're not good weapons, but they can give you a laugh the first time you see one.

7. Which of the following weapons is Goro's strongest?

Answer: Inferno

Inferno is by far Goro's best weapon. Tall Hammer is his 2nd best weapon, but does not come close to the Inferno. The Satan's Axe builds up into Inferno.

8. What item lets you run a whole lot faster?

Answer: Dran's Feather

This item is so important. It can get you away from bad situations, but even using them full time just to get around a lot faster makes things easier. These are purchased off merchants, and are found in dungeons pretty often. These are also very important in some boss fights.

Answer: Fire, Ice, Thunder, Wind, Holy

This is the order. Holy is last, because it has no weakness. Use ice on fire, fire on ice. Use wind on thunder, and thunder on wind. Those last 20 Holy floors stink pretty bad, but when you're done you face Black Pendragon and acquire the Chronicle 2- the best sword in the game.

Yeah, I was pretty shocked when I saw this fish come and make me get in his mouth. But trust me, it's worth it. This is the only dungeon where you can buy the key to the back floor, in this case it's a "flapping fish". I found this the best way to level up weapons, because of the major abs from the monsters, and all the gems in the chests.
