1. In "Dragon Age: Origins", what trial must every mage apprentice go through to become a fully fledged mage?

Answer: The Harrowing

The Fade is the place where the Harrowing takes place, and quite often results in the mage becoming "tranquil". A tranquil mage is a mage who has been stripped of all emotion and magical ability and used to often do menial tasks.

2. During your time in Lothering you will eventually come across two dwarves, Bohdan and...?

Answer: Sandal

Branka is the only living paragon and Harrowmont is in dwarven politics. You find out more about them during your quest to recruit the dwarves of Orzammar.

3. In "Dragon Age: Origins", what is the name of the Dalish elves Keeper?

Answer: Zathrian

Marethari is the Keeper of the Dalish in "Dragon Age II" and Velanna was a Dalish Keeper and companion in "Awakening". Fenarel is just a warrior Dalish in "Dragon Age II".

4. What is the name of the King who dies at Ostagar?

Answer: Cailan

Maric is actually Cailan's father, Duncan is a Grey Warden and friend to Cailan and Loghain is the man who betrayed Cailan. All are "famous" in their own right, but Maric is probably the best known as being the man who reclaimed Fereldan from Orlais.

Answer: Daveth

Jory and Alistair are both warriors and while Morrigan could be considered rogue, she is not a actual rogue and not one of your companions at the start either. Morrigan can be recruited after the battle of Ostagar.

6. Who can teach you the specialisation "Bard"?

Answer: Leliana

While all but Oghren are rogues, Zevran is an assassin, Isabela is a duelist and Leliana is the bard. Most of the time when talking with Oghren, he will simply burp. Eventually, though, you may be able to get the Berserker specialisation out of him.

7. In "Dragon Age: Origins", what is the name of the Darkspawn that can use magic?

Answer: Emissary

Hurlock and Alpha Darkspawn are just tougher opponents, and the Architect is a magic user, but he doesn't appear until the "Awakening" expansion, and is an emissary himself anyway. The Architect is also the first ever Darkspawn to gain self awareness.

8. Which of the following can NOT die in the final battle at Denarim?

Answer: Morrigan

The Warden can choose near the end whether to send another warden to kill the Archdemon or to do it himself. The other alternative is to impregnate Morrigan and have the Archdemon transfer its "soul" to the baby.

9. Whilst in the Fade at the Mage's tower after meeting the sloth demon during the "Broken Circle" quest, what form can you NOT take?

Answer: A dragon

Rather than a dragon, you can become a golem in this quest. Each form is necessary in order to complete your mission.

10. In "Dragon Age: Origins", what are the possible romance options for a male elf?

Answer: Morrigan, Leliana and Zevran

It is in fact possible to romance a male character in "Dragon Age: Origins", but Alistair (who can be romanced as a female warden) only provides romance dialogue for females. Zevran and Leliana, on the other hand, will go both ways.
