Question 1 of 10
1. As Aiden first arrives from the outside, he is caught in the fray of what is essentially an ongoing Cold War between the Survivors and the Peacekeepers, with the Renegades soon to get involved themselves. Of the three, which does Aiden natively belong to? Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. During the prologue, one character who was also present during the first "Dying Light" guides Aiden to Old Villedor. This character is the only one from the first game which appears in the main storyline of this game. Who is it? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. Aiden is clearly well suited to a nomadic lifestyle, thus he probably wouldn't come to Old Villedor without a specific reason. Why does Aiden go to Old Villedor? Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. Aiden's initial entry into Old Villedor is quite rowdy- the mere sight of him arriving throws the populace into an extreme rage, and he's moments away from being outright hanged. A soon-to-be important character intervenes and eventually helps him to settle into the area. Who is this? Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. One important topic that comes up early in the game- the initial leader of the Peacekeepers, Lucas, is found to have been murdered. The man who takes his place, Aitor, eventually enlists Aiden's help in figuring out who did it. It takes a bit of elbow grease, but Aiden is able to eventually discover who the culprit is. Who is it? Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. There are many different outcomes which can occur to end the game off, which can be molded by player decision making at crucial moments. However, there is always one strictly negative occurrence which takes place regardless of what the player does. What is it? Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. There are quite a few incredibly odd "Easter egg" quests in this game. One of them can be found by returning to Lieutenant Williams' fortress and going to the top floor, into a well hidden, dimly lit room. Here, the player can earn the "Pan of Destiny" item. Who, or what, administers the quest to earn this item? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. Aiden comes face to face with a number of dangerous zombie mutations. The most dangerous, however, would easily be the "GRE Anomaly"- these beasts are located in a few specific spots, and dealing with them will earn an Inhibitor as a reward. When can they be confronted? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. Stamina is a relatively fickle beast in this game- this is especially evident whenever the player is paragliding, as a depleted stamina bar will quickly lead to a dangerous situation where the player enters a state of free fall. This can be averted by simply slowly landing before the stamina bar fades away, but if the player wants to stay airborne, there is another way. What is it? Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. There are no guns in this game (for the most part) so bows and arrows are the only projectiles the player will get for a very long time. However, there is also the option of acquiring a crossbow, which is vastly superior. How can the player get themselves a crossbow? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. As Aiden first arrives from the outside, he is caught in the fray of what is essentially an ongoing Cold War between the Survivors and the Peacekeepers, with the Renegades soon to get involved themselves. Of the three, which does Aiden natively belong to?

Answer: None of them

Aiden is identified as a 'Pilgrim', which are a scarce group of people who traverse the 'outside'. To sum it up, the apocalypse and a series of chemical explosions basically wiped out a great deal of civilization outside of Old Villedor, making the area near impossible to inhabit and forcing any human survivors into Old Villedor.

The few that do travel or have travelled outside of Old Villedor and lived to tell the tale are referred to as Pilgrims. Aiden is indeed a Pilgrim, and while the player can take actions and make decisions to benefit the Survivors or Peacekeepers more than the other, Aiden is not and never will formally become one of either faction.
2. During the prologue, one character who was also present during the first "Dying Light" guides Aiden to Old Villedor. This character is the only one from the first game which appears in the main storyline of this game. Who is it?

Answer: Spike

Spike was a technician in Harran and was a prominent character in the first "Dying Light". Here, he helps to guide Aiden towards Old Villedor, before he parts ways, not to return until the epilogue of the game. By this point, the three incorrect answers to this question are all long dead, as they did not survive the events of the first game.
3. Aiden is clearly well suited to a nomadic lifestyle, thus he probably wouldn't come to Old Villedor without a specific reason. Why does Aiden go to Old Villedor?

Answer: To find his sister

Throughout the game, Aiden will continually have flashbacks of a time before him and his sister were separated a long time ago. These flashbacks spur his memory and drive him to return to the laboratory where they were last together.
4. Aiden's initial entry into Old Villedor is quite rowdy- the mere sight of him arriving throws the populace into an extreme rage, and he's moments away from being outright hanged. A soon-to-be important character intervenes and eventually helps him to settle into the area. Who is this?

Answer: Hakon

Hakon is able to outfit Aiden with the all-important biomarker as well as get him out of immediate harm's way. He is also later helpful in figuring out how Aiden can go about traveling throughout the area in general and interacting with other prominent figures.
Who is it?

Answer: Hakon

This is figured out as Aiden comes to Hakon's defense when an unknown figure attempts to assassinate him. As Aiden tends to Hakon's wounds, he finds a big, bloodied wound left by brass knuckles. Aitor told Aiden that Lucas would've likely gone down with a fight, and that he was the only one in Villedor in possession of his weapon, which basically became a trademark at that. Through this, Aiden is able to determine Hakon killed Lucas- something which Hakon doesn't deny as well.
6. There are many different outcomes which can occur to end the game off, which can be molded by player decision making at crucial moments. However, there is always one strictly negative occurrence which takes place regardless of what the player does. What is it?

Answer: Mia dies

No matter what, Mia will always die- the whole purpose behind Aiden being in Old Villedor at all is lost in the process. Aiden himself won't ever end up being killed, and Aiden and Lawan can potentially intervene on Waltz's attempted missile strike and stop it from happening. If Hakon was killed at any point, this will result in Lawan basically sacrificing herself in the process. If, however, Hakon is still alive, he will die to stop the missile strike from happening.

Answer: A chicken

Aiden will walk into the room and be greeted by a talking chicken. The chicken is apparently an alien of some sort in disguise, who is trying to return to its home. The problem is that a key part to repairing its spaceship was lost underwater in a nearby lake- the quest being for Aiden to retrieve and deliver this part. After doing so, the chicken will inform Aiden that his actions have reflected well on behalf of humanity towards an organization called "The Galactic Federation" and will then teleport away, taking the spaceship part and leaving behind a blueprint for the Pan of Destiny.

It is hard to argue that this isn't the wackiest quest in this game, and it may yet be one of the weirdest, most out of context quests in a game period.
8. Aiden comes face to face with a number of dangerous zombie mutations. The most dangerous, however, would easily be the "GRE Anomaly"- these beasts are located in a few specific spots, and dealing with them will earn an Inhibitor as a reward. When can they be confronted?

Answer: At night

If the player arrives at these locations during the day, there will be nothing here and the Inhibitor will be locked away, impossible to access. At night, the GRE Anomaly will arrive to do battle with the player. Once the player slays it, the hatch door locking off the Inhibitor will unlock, allowing the player to easily claim it.
What is it?

Answer: Flying over air vents

The player will be unable to do anything at all other than guide the paraglider as they use it; no weapons or items may be used without disengaging and landing on the ground. Flying over air vents which are active will immediately replenish the player's stamina. Giving over windmills and metro stations to the Survivor community will increase the number of air vents which appear around Old Villedor, so players who want to fly for as long as possible are encouraged to favor the Survivors over the Peacekeepers.
10. There are no guns in this game (for the most part) so bows and arrows are the only projectiles the player will get for a very long time. However, there is also the option of acquiring a crossbow, which is vastly superior. How can the player get themselves a crossbow?

Answer: Giving properties to the Peacekeepers

At level 5, the Peacekeepers will gift Aiden with a crossbow he can access at his stash. This is the only way to gain a crossbow, so players who want one will need to give metro stations and windmills to the Peacekeepers until their level with them reaches 5.
