1. This is one of my favourite characters in the series. He dies very early on in the story. He fought for the Kingdom of Wei. He gave his life at the battle of Wan Castle so that his Lord Cao Cao could escape, he bled to death after a large number of arrow wounds, but who is this character?
2. The Former prefect of Xi Liang. He took over the Imperial Court and began a reign of terror. He participated in the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the battle of Hu Lao Gate. He adopted the mighty Lu Bu as his son, but was betrayed and assassinated by him, who was this evil tyrant?
3. Next up is a leader who ruled the land of Jiang Dong. He was killed by a rockfall by Huang Zu in a battle with Liu Biao. He was known as the "Tiger of Jiang Dong", but who exactly am I talking about?
4. He was considered to be the mightiest warrior of his time, he and his horse the "Red Hare" were known throughout the land and would strike fear into any mans heart no matter how brave. He was executed by Cao Cao after the battle of Xia Pi. Just who is this person?
5. The eldest son of the mighty Sun Jian. He borrowed 3000 troops from Yuan Shu in exchange for the Imperial Seal. He stabilized the land of Jiang Dong giving him the nickname "The Little Conqueror". Starting with his old friend Zhou Yu he went on to gather many talented officers that set up the foundation of Wu. There are a few different accounts on how this man actually died; one of them being - he was killed by assassins during his invasion of Xu Chang. Can you guess who it is?
6. This man is a noble from a royal family. He commanded the battle of Hu Lao Gate and later decimated Gongsun Zan's armies and took the province of He Bei before being defeated and humiliated by the much smaller force of Cao Cao at Guan Du. This eventually caused him to die in sickness and despair, but who is this man?
7. This next character's background is fairly unknown before his encounter with Sun Ce which ended in a draw. He then decided to join forces with Sun Ce and Zhou Yu and was 1 of the very few officers to join forces with the Sun family before the rise of Wu. Unfortunately however he was killed in the battle of He Fei from an arrow wound, but who is he?
8. This next character's origins are unknown, all we know is he grew up with Zhuge Liang. He is referred to as the "Young Phoenix" and participated in the battle of Chi Bi and Cheng Du on the side of Shu. He believed in Liu Bei's ideas for the land. He was ambushed by Zhang Yan because he was mistaken for Liu Bei, who is this mystery?
9. This character is the cousin of Cao Cao. He is quite large in size and is a master with the bow. He was shot with an arrow at the battle of Mt. Ding Jun after an archery face off between himself and the legendary Huang Zhong, but who is this man?
10. This next question involves two character's deaths. These are father and son that died together on the battlefield of Fan Castle after they were cornered and executed by the combined forces of Wei and Wu. The father of this pair was one of the three sworn brothers of Shu and arguably the greatest warrior in all of China after the death of Lu Bu, can you guess this duo?
11. This character was also a warrior of Shu. When Guan Yu was killed at Fan Castle this warrior resorted to drinking to help with the loss of his friend but he became arrogant and began beating his own men; which resulted in him being assassinated by them in his sleep on the eve of the battle of Yi Ling. This man was also said to have the strength of 10,000 men, but who is he?
12. This is my favorite character in "Dynasty Warriors". A former pirate, he allied himself with the forces of Wu after serving under Huang Zu where he killed the general Ling Cao which led to a grudge between himself and Ling Cao's son; Ling Tong. This later turned into friendship after saving each other in battle many times, but they still tried to best each other in combat. He struck up a friendship with Sun Quan's bodyguard Zhou Tai and was very close to his mentor Lu Meng. He went out into the battle of Yi Ling despite an illness and was killed by an arrow from the barbaric Shu general Sha Moke, but just who am I talking about?
13. This next character is the most renowned strategist in all of china. He decided to serve under Liu Bei's rule because he believed in his ideas for the land. He came up with the "Three Kingdoms" plan which split China into three separate forces Wei, Wu and Shu. He was given the nickname the "Sleeping Dragon" for his masterful strategies that were comparable by none. He died of illness on the battlefield of Wu Zhang Plains, but who was this masterful tactician?
14. This is probably the character that has the least background knowledge in "Dynasty Warriors" history. He served under Liu Biao until joining forces with Shu. He was disliked by Zhuge Liang but stayed in the kingdom of Shu because he was well liked by Liu Bei, when Liu Bei died however Zhuge Liang accused him of treason and he was killed by his comrade Ma Dai, who is he?
15. This character is not playable. He helped his fellow officer Gao Shun escape from Xiahou Dun by shooting an arrow that pierced his left eye, but the frenzied Xiahou Dun retaliated and split open this mans skull, but can you guess who it is?
