This quiz is on my favourite games of all time the "Dynasty Warriors" series. The questions are on the deaths of many of the warriors in all of the "Dynasty Warriors" games. This is my second quiz. Hope you enjoy!

A former pirate, he allied himself with the forces of Wu after serving under Huang Zu where he killed the general Ling Cao which led to a grudge between himself and Ling Cao's son; Ling Tong. This later turned into friendship after saving each other in battle many times, but they still tried to best each other in combat. He struck up a friendship with Sun Quan's bodyguard Zhou Tai and was very close to his mentor Lu Meng. He went out into the battle of Yi Ling despite an illness and was killed by an arrow from the barbaric Shu general Sha Moke, but just who am I talking about? Hint

He died of illness on the battlefield of Wu Zhang Plains, but who was this masterful tactician? Hint

He was disliked by Zhuge Liang but stayed in the kingdom of Shu because he was well liked by Liu Bei, when Liu Bei died however Zhuge Liang accused him of treason and he was killed by his comrade Ma Dai, who is he? Answer: Dian Wei

Dian Wei was a giant of a man, he struck up a friendship with Xu Zhu.
At the battle of Wan Castle while Dian Wei was sleeping Zhang Xiu's men came and took his weapons. When he woke up, the castle was in flames, he ran to protect his lord and helped him escape. It is said that he held them off with his bare hands and even when he finally died no soldier dared to go near him.

Answer: Dong Zhuo

Dong Zhuo was the antagonist of the Battle of Hu Lao Gate, in which he seized the Imperial Court and claimed China under his rule, so the massive coalition force led by Yuan Shao was dispatched to save the emperor and stop his evil rule of tyranny. Once he lost the battle he fled Luo Yang but was betrayed by Wang Yun and Diao Chan and was eventually killed by his adopted son Lu Bu.

Answer: Sun Jian

Sun Jian was the leader of the Sun family which eventually founded Wu.He became well known after defeating a band of pirates and for his efforts in the battles against the Yellow Turbans. He participated in the Battle of Si Shui Gate as the vanguard and pitted his forces against the mighty Hua Xiong but had to pull back because supplies were not sent by Yuan Shu. Following the battle he found the Imperial Seal in a well and took it home with him.

Answer: Lu Bu

The mighty Lu Bu was skilled in all the martial arts, archery and horseback riding. Loyal only to himself, he cut down his own adopted father Ding Yuan and then joined up with Dong Zhuo, only to later betray him as well. He was so formidable that he was able to hold off all three of the sworn brothers, Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei whom later held a grudge against Lu Bu because he bested him in combat.

The battle of Guan Du was a major disaster for Yuan Shao because both of his mighty generals Wen Chou and Yan Liang were defeated and killed by Guan Yu. Plus there were defections within his ranks with Zhang He and Xun Yu turning on him, also his supply depot at Wu Chao was found and set alight then when all he had left to do was charge, Cao Cao unleashed his mighty catapults upon the armies of Yuan Shao forcing him to flee and the battle lost.

Tashi Ci was forced to fight for Sun Ce at first, because his lord Liu Yong was defeated by Sun Ce. But then after Sun Ce's death he decided to stay with Wu because he felt that Sun Ce's brother Sun Quan had good intentions for the land and made some strong allies in Sun Quan, Zhou Tai and Gan Ning.

A classmate of Zhuge Liang, he was often compared to the "Sleeping Dragon" as an accomplished strategist this is why he was given the name the "Young Phoenix". After joining Liu Bei he suggested the capture of the lands of Shu and led the campaign himself.

Answer: Xiahou Yuan

Xiahou Yuan worked with Cao Cao from the very beginning, commanding a division of his lords army. He was famous for his lightning quick attacks and had a long list of accomplishments including the defeat of the great general Ma Chao. He missed Huang Zhong with an arrow from a mile away saying " no man could accomplish this", Huang Zhong proved him wrong however piercing Xiahou Yuan straight through the chest.

After Lu Bu's death the great general Guan Yu was considered the mightiest warrior in the land, also taking the famous "Red Hare" from him. Guan Ping was also believed to have had great strength which gave him the edge in battle. During the battle of Fan Castle, Guan Yu sent Guan Ping to open the flood gates which flooded the castle causing heavy losses, but when the forces of Shu entered the castle, the Wu forces came in the aid of Wei for a surprise attack which cornered Shu and resulted in the execution of Guan Yu and his adopted son Guan Ping.

Zhang Fei was the strongest of warriors on the side of Shu, even stronger than his oath brother the mighty Guan Yu. He famously repelled the whole of the Wei army at the Chang Ban Bridge to let his lord Liu Bei escape the clutches of Cao Cao. Although his love for wine and drink often led to his defeat in battle rather than victory more times than not.
12. This is my favorite character in "Dynasty Warriors". He created a surprise attack along with Zhou Tai to allow their lord Sun Quan to escape Zhang Liao. Famously, we wore bells attached to his belt so that the enemy would know who was about to attack them and to strike fear into their hearts. Historically, he was a very down to earth guy and well liked by his men who would follow him into the depths of Hell.

Zhuge Liang was the best tactician in all of China. The only other that could compare to him was Wei's/Jin's strategist the deceitful Sima Yi, who tricked the kingdom of Wei by weakening it then turned it into his own kingdom of Jin which ended up ruling all of China.
14. This is probably the character that has the least background knowledge in "Dynasty Warriors" history. He served under Liu Biao until joining forces with Shu. He was disliked by Zhuge Liang but stayed in the kingdom of Shu because he was well liked by Liu Bei, when Liu Bei died however Zhuge Liang accused him of treason and he was killed by his comrade Ma Dai, who is he?

Answer: Wei Yan

He was very well liked by Liu Bei and he was later promoted to become one of the "Five Tiger Generals of Shu" after Guan Yu's death. He is a strange character he only speaks in 1 word sentences and he sounds rather like a barbarian.

Answer: Cao Xing

After this incident, it was said that Xiahou Dun removed his eye from the arrow and ate it. Cao Xing served under Lu Bu.
