"EarthBound": What's the Name? Quiz

This is my first quiz, based off of "EarthBound" for the SNES. In my opinion, it's the best game ever. Try to guess the names of the characters in the game!

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the last name of Frank, the first boss?

Answer: Fly

Yes, Frank has a last name, but it is only seen in the character roll call at the end. If you do not know, he is the head of the Sharks, the local ruffians of Onett, Ness's hometown. You must beat him in order to progress in the game. After defeating him, he allows you to rest with him for free. How nice!
2. What is the name of the female singer that you see in the Topolla Theater in Fourside?

Answer: Venus

At one point, you have to get Venus's autograph to progress through the game. She gives it to you on a banana peel. Why? Well, you have to get her autograph so you can get one of the melodies. How? Give the autographed banana peel to the curator of the Fourside museum and he will tell you something important. I won't spoil it, though.
3. What is the name of the boss of Giant Step, the first sanctuary?

Answer: Titanic Ant

The first sanctuary boss is the Titanic Ant. Electro Specter was the boss for Lumine Hall, the seventh Santuary, the Shrooom! was the boss of Rainy Circle, the fourth Sanctuary, and Carbon Dog was the boss of the eigth Sanctuary, Lava Spring. If you do not know, you are required to get each of the melodies in order to defeat the final boss.
4. What sea monster do you fight when sailing from Summers to Scaraba?

Answer: Kraken

Yup, the Kraken. Surprisingly, it looks more like a snake than like a squid. Later, you encounter a "Bionic Kraken," which is more powerful. Be careful, though; he's VERY powerful.
5. What is the local group of ruffians in Onett?

Answer: the Sharks

You face the Sharks, and eventually their leader, Frank, in order to get to the first Sanctuary. Their hideout is in and around the arcade. After defeating Frank, you won't be able to fight them anymore.
6. Who are the cute and loveable creatures that live near the third Sanctuary?

Answer: the Saturns

The Saturns are all named Mr. Saturn, for some reason. They provide services that usually cost money for free. They eventually help build the Phase Distorter, which allows you to reach where the final boss is. You might regognize them from the "Super Smsh Bros." games as items.
7. EarthBound happens to be the sequel to the Japan-only release "Mother." There WAS an English version, but it wasn't released. What was the Final Boss's name in this version?

Answer: Giegue

Yes, his name was originally Giegue. Giygas is his current English name, and Giygig is his Japanese name. He looks different between games, though. In each one, though, they are very evil and you have to use a certain command in battle to defeat them.
8. What is Ness's sister's name?

Answer: Tracy

Ness's sister Tracy plays a somewhat major role in the game. After Ness leaves Onett on his quest, she starts working part-time for the storage company Escargo Express. You can store or get stored items delivered through her. She also has the Cracked Bat, Ness's first weapon, in her room.
9. What is the name of Ness's bratty next-door neighbor?

Answer: Pokey

Pokey, Ness's neighbor, eventually joins with Giygas, and is seen in the final battle. Porky is his Japanese name, while Picky is his brother's name. He later appears in the game's Japan-only sequel, "Mother 3," as the main antagonist.
10. Who first discovers the Mani Mani statue, which plays a major role in the game?

Answer: Lier X. Agerate

Lier X. Agerate is the first person to find the Mani Mani statue, a device that creates illusions and can channel the power of Giygas. You fight it at one point as a boss. Agerate is a billboard man and treasure hunter in Onett. Ness is, of course, the hero of the game, B. H. Pirkle is the Mayor of Onett, and Everdred is a boss as well as the owner of Burglin Park in the town of Twoson. Hope you enjoyed. PSI Farewell to you all!
