Zell loves the hotdogs from the cafeteria of Balamb Garden. After beating the game, you can see him stuffing his face with several hotdogs in a movie.

Answer: Phoenix

Phoenix obtained simply by getting a Phoenix Pinion. Use it in a battle and Phoenix will show up and do his stuff. Then after that, there's a random chance that it will show up again to revive a dead party. You have to battle Cerberus in Galbadia Garden to get his services. Ifrit you fight in the Fire Cavern and then he's yours. Odin is located in the Centra Ruins and after beating him in a fight, he pledges to serve you.
