In the game you will see people who were in the the first game who were playable (Wakka and Lulu for example). You will also see people who were in the game that were not playable characters too. Paine was a completely new character who you have never met in any way before.

You can play this game when you reach Luca for the first time and you can get some practice with the mechanics's of the game and learn the rather extensive rule's of the game. It is quite a fun game but it can also be frustrating at times. In Chapter three you get the chance to win a new Dressphere by winning a tournament (to do this you have to win three games in a row, the final match will be against your Gullwing friend Shinra who is quite good at Sphere Break!) If you don't win it here you can attempt to beat him in Chapter five and when you win he will hand over the Lady Luck Dressphere. Blitzball can also be played in Chapter five but it is very different in style and gameplay than it was in the previous game. Personally I do not like this new version of Blitzball.

The Floral Fallal is Yuna's Special Dressphere and Machina Maw is Rikku's Special Dressphere. Paine's Full Throttle Dressphere has an uncanny resemblance to Feather's and Knive's and this is where I got the third incorrect answer from.

Gippal, Nooj, Baralai and Paine all knew each other from a long time ago. The three men were taking part in a dangerous mission to be selected for the Crimson Squad and Paine was the recorder of the group.

The Aurochs don't really like Beclem as he is very strict and he calls them 'Slackers' all the time. Beclem also gets on Wakka's nerves at times. When you first meet him he is very impolite to Yuna. Then he gives Yuna a chance to prove herself in a mini game called the Gunner's Gauntlet.

You can dig in different parts of the Bikanel Desert during the game. However you can only dig in the Central Expanse during Chapter five and you must have previously dispatched a Chocobo to Bikanel Desert (where it is caught by the Al Bhed and therefore does not return to the Chocobo Ranch). The Central expanse has some great items that can be obtained.

If you take on the Cactuar's side quest (during Chapter three) to understand what is going on and what the Cactuar's are saying Benzo must accompany you. You can start this mission in Chapter three after speaking to Marnela (the head Cactuar and then by talking to the various 'Cactuar Mother's dotted around the area.) You can only complete this quest during Chapter five.

When you address the couple it comes up as them actually speaking together so it says Barkeep and Darling. Barkeep met the Hypello during Chapter four when Tobli helped Yuna get people to go to her concert in the Thunder Plains. Tobli sent out lots of Hypello's to tell people about the planned concert.

Answer: Give Leblanc a massage

When you give Leblanc a massage in one word it is 'hilarious'! Yuna has to pick one of nine places on a three by three grid to give her a massage. Her responses are what make this scene so funny. The first response is if you touch the wrong place, you hear a crack and she scolds you by saying "Ouch! Watch where your groping!" The second one when you get a bit closer is "No not there." Thirdly she goes "Oooohhh!" If you get it exactly in the right spot she screams out in pleasure with "Ah there!" The fourth response is the most amusing. Apart from the amusement factor you get points on how good a massage you gave and you will be able to pick up one of two items. For a bad massage you will be able to get a Heady Perfume and for a good massage you will be able to pick up a Gold Hairpin.

Yuna has a Dog called Kogoro in the Trainer Dressphere, Rikku has a Monkey called Ghiki and Paine has a Bird called Flurry. Daigoro is the name of the Dog that accompanied Yojimbo into battle in the original "Final Fantasy X" Yoji is just a shortened version of Yojimbo's name and Mogoro is made up.

Yuna begins the game in the Gunner Dressphere, Rikku in the Thief Dressphere and Paine in the Warrior Dressphere. During the first Boss Battle against Ormi and Logos you cannot Spherechange, but when Leblanc joins in you can Spherechange to the Songstress Dressphere.

Vidina is an Al Bhed word that means 'Future' when translated in to English. This is quite significant due to Wakka's previous hate for the Al Bhed, after meeting Rikku he sees that the Al Bhed are not as bad as he thought. His main reason for his hate of the Al Bhed in the first place was that his brother Chappu died fighting Sin with an Al Bhed Weapon.

The name is symbolic as it shows how he has lost his hate for the Al Bhed and moved on with his life.

Answer: Caladbolg

All the weapons above were swords that Tidus could use in the original game the Caldbolg however was his Celestial Weapon. The Celestial Weapon's were the characters most powerful weapon's (like ultimate weapon's) that had special advantages to standard weapon's and some of them were 're-used' so to speak in this follow on game.

Answer: Quickest way to Spherechange into Special Dresspheres

The Unerring Path Garment Grid has only two Dressphere slots connected by a single line. To change into a Special Dressphere you have to use all the different Dresspheres you have in the current Garment Grid you are using. This Garment Grid therefore required you only having to Spherechange once before you could Spherechange into a Special Dressphere.
