The Knight Lance is a weapon for Kimahri, boosting his strength by a fair amount. Even though Yevon goes against machina, this temple is full of machina!

Grothia is the name of his Ifrit, and Pterya is his Valefor. Spathi will Countdown from five, preparing for a Mega Flare. This gives you a large opportunity to inflict some damage, and he won't attack you during the Countdown. If you don't defeat Bahamut by the end of the countdown, use Shield to protect from Mega Flare, although even this may not save your Aeon.

Seymour uses 'Break' once his life is reduced to 24,000. This is used in combination with Mortibody's 'Shattering Claw', which removes a petrified character from the battle. Flare is a high damage attack, and Mortibody will also be healing him at this stage, so use the Reflect spell to your advantage.

The strong fiends: Anacondaur, Ogre, Coeurl, Chimera Brain and Malboro, generally appear in the North West section of the Calm Lands.
The other fiends: Skoll, Nebiros, Flame Flan, Shred and Mech Scouter appear in the Southeast.
The person in the Monster Arena tells you to capture nine fiends in this area. Don't let this confuse you because Mech Scouter isn't a capturable fiend.

Answer: Remiem Temple

The secret area is located near the entrance of the Calm Lands. As you enter, turn right and you should see a Chocobo Feather. Press 'X' and the Chocobo will leap down into a valley which leads to the Remiem Temple.
There is a secret Chocobo Race available outside the temple, and you can fight Belgemine's Aeons inside the temple in order to obtain The Magus Sisters, a secret Aeon.

Answer: Reduce a character's HP by half.

Defender X is a powerful fiend. It's normal attack can deal well over 2000 damage, and its Haymaker can kill most of your characters in one hit. It also has a high defence, so use Armour Break.

Answer: Daigoro

The 'Sunken Cavern' quest is optional. You have to pay a lot of money in order to obtain Yojimbo, over 200,000 gil, so you probably won't be able to afford him at this stage in the game.
Yojimbo has several attacks. Daigoro the dog can attack enemies, but it doesn't do much damage. Wakizashi is another one of Yojimbo's attacks, using knives to deal a fair amount of damage. Zanmato is probably the most powerful attack in the game, instantly killing any opponents, including bosses! However, expect to pay him a lot in order for him to use this devastating attack!
