Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the skill level that shows when you put your mouse over someone?

Answer: Combat Level

Combat levels can range from 3 to over 100! Your combat level, most of the time, displays your status in "Runescape".
2. The "Cook's Assistant" quest is located in Varrock.

Answer: False

The "Cook's Assistant" quest is started in Lumbridge, and you have to gather ingredients for the castle's cook. After this quest, you get cooking experience and access to the cook's range.
3. You have to pay $40 a month to be a member.

Answer: False

No! You only have to pay $5 a month to do everything there is on "Runescape"! Being a member has many advantages, including different skills than free players.
4. What fish is available for cage fishing in Karamja?

Answer: Lobsters

Lobsters are sold for 200 gold pieces each, and they can send you on your way to make a fortune. Lobsters are sometimes abbreviated "lobs" when you are playing, so don't get confused if you see this!
5. What is the town located to the east of Lumbridge?

Answer: Al Kharid

You have to pay 10 gold pieces to pass through the gate into Al Kharid, unless if you have completed the "Prince Ali Rescue" quest. Al Kharid also has one of the only hide-tanners in the game, unless you can use the crafting guild.
6. "Runescape" has millions of players registered.

Answer: True

"Runescape" has millions of people registered, and hundreds of thousands play everyday. This is why they call "Runescape" the "massive online adventure game."
7. What metal is made from 1 iron ore and 2 coal?

Answer: Steel

Mining and smithing are very good ways to make lots of money in Runescape. If you can mine and smith Runite armor, you will be a rich man (or woman).
8. Runescape has no rules.

Answer: False

"Runescape" has rules! If there weren't any rules, imagine what chaos there would be! This is completely false!
9. What is the definition of a "noob"?

Answer: A player that is annoying

If you are called a "noob", it means that you are doing things that other people find annoying, or that a person who just started would do. If you are called a "noob", try not to become upset, but try not to act like you know everything. Sometimes, if someone calls you a "noob" it might also be because you just started and who is annoying.
10. What are the people with gold crowns next to their names?

Answer: Jagex Moderators

These people work for Jagex, and are playing the game just like you, but they monitor the players to look for rule-breaking and such. If you see someone break a rule, use the "report abuse" button, even if they have a crown next to their name.
