In the beginning of the game, Harry is teased and irritated by Dudley and his gang. As per the movie, two dementors attack Harry and Dudley. At that point of time you learn Expecto Patronum to conjure a Patronus and protect yourself. Though this is the only spell which you just have to use twice in the game: When you are attacked by dementors and when you have to demonstrate it to Dumbledore's Army.

There are a total of thirteen Fred and George parcels located in Hogwarts. There is one parcel in the Library, one parcel in the owlery and one parcel in the Paved Courtyard. After you complete Flitwick's mini task you have to pass the O.W.Ls. In the O.W.Ls he asks you to cast several charms. You have to cast Reducto on statue of a bird, Reparo on the broken dishes and Incendio on the plaque. You are never taught Colloportus and never use it.

Crows are found in the Stone Circle resting on the stones. Doves are found at the Viaduct, Seagulls are found at the boathouse, and Bats are found at the Stone Bridge.

It's true because when you ascend or descend the narrow, steep staircase that connects the Dungeons to the Viaduct Entrance you can hear the howlers being played. There is none other place where you can hear them.

The book is present in the Restricted Section in the far left in the second row from back. When you are near it an "X" will flash, go near it and press enter to retrieve and then return back to Snape.

The password is 'Slytherins are supreme' and you get to know it when you hide under your Invisibility Cloak and hear Slytherin students saying it. This portrait leads you to the Dungeons. 'Scurrilous scoundrel' is the password to the portrait in the Grand Staircase at Dungeons level which takes you to the Seventh Floor. 'Volo futurus unus' is the password for the man in the Viaduct Entrance which leads you to the First Floor. 'Flaming earwigs' is the password to the portrait in the Herbology Corridor which leads you to the Fifth Floor.

The places where they are, are in the Entrance Courtyard (they are present under the leaves use "Wingardium Leviosa" on the broom and then clean the leaves to find the belonging), in the Great Hall on the table, in the Viaduct Entrance in front of bookcase next to stuttering portrait, in the Clock Tower Courtyard directly in front of the fountain, and in the Library on the table.

After finding all the belongings you also win a trophy that is placed in the Room of Rewards.

After you get the spell book from the Library that was kept in the Restricted Section by Umbridge, Hermione finds it safer to read it in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. At that point you learn Incendio and you practice it by casting on the lamps.
