This mask, which can be purchased at the Curiosity Shop, can actually be used to listen to boring stories. Link can wear the mask when talking to Granny and sit through her story without sleeping. If he chooses the right answers to the question she asks, she will give a Heart Container for each of the two stories.

Grog, who loves animals, wants to raise his peeps into Cuccos and Link could do this for him with the Bremen Mask he acquired from the traveling Guru-Guru. Interestingly, a shiftless man resembling Grog in "Ocarina of Time" cares so much about animals that hearing the blue Cucco Kojiro lifts him out of depression.

This mask was, according to another Gossip Stone, "used for ill" by the Gorman Brothers. As Link accompanied Cremia during a milk shipment, he can witness this himself. The two brothers, wearing the disguise, block the path around Milk Road to Clock Town and pursue the carriage, shooting arrows at cans aboard. Link can get this mask from them if he wins a race against them.

Then, he can access Ikana Canyon and learn about its history by wearing the mask and fighting the ancient warriors.

Answer: Kamaro's Mask

Wearing one of the masks mentioned by the Gossip Stone can be useful, however, for Link making his way past the enemies without their halting screeches. Kamaro's Mask, acquired from a restless soul atop a rock in the snowy part of Termina Field. Link can play this to entrance the dancing Sisters Rosa and win over their hearts.

The Gossip Stone that tells Link this is found in a grotto. Near the Gossip Stone are several other Gossip Stones. Most grottos can be accessed by bombing, while still others are hidden in high grass.

Link can get this mask at the Laundry Pool from the man who owns the Curiosity Shop.
