Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The most common enemy in both Phantomile and Lunatea, these cute round pink creatures are often key to solving puzzles and useful for double jumping. Who are they?

Answer: Moo

Klonoa can only double jump while holding certain enemies, Moos being the most common. Kitons will allow Klonoa to fly, but only for a short time before they disappear. Spindles and Giant Spindles can deflect attacks from the side and often require a Moo to be destroyed. Klonoa cannot grab the shark-like Digons and will be hurt from touching them. Moos also come in a green flying form, a blue boarder form, an armored form (being blue underneath the armor), and a giant form which is filled with dream stones.
2. Ghadius devout follower, this jester-like character transforms into a sort of giant turtle at night. Who is he?

Answer: Joka

When Joka is touched by light, he transforms back into the jester-like Joka. Lephise and Seadoph are under Ghadius' control until Klonoa frees them in "Klonoa: Door to Phantomile". Solare, along with Soleil, help operate the sun temple. Joka also appears in "Klonoa 2: Dream Champ Tournament" for the GBA.
3. This character can split into two versions of him or herself, useful for confusing Klonoa. Who is it?

Answer: Tat

Tat splits into a black and white version of herself at Joilant to confuse Klonoa and makes him go after her at the fun park and the water slide. Tat reveals she is a female during a scene in the Ark Revisited level in which she tells Klonoa "That's Miss Tat to you!". Polonte is the name of the hatchling that fights Klonoa in Mira-Mira.
4. With a second controller, this character is a useful aid to Klonoa in Lunatea. Who is it?

Answer: Popka

While Lolo (or Huepow) is needed to use the ring, Popka can push Klonoa very high up into the air if you have another player (or if you are manipulating the second controller yourself). While an Erbil can let Klonoa jump very high and attack enemies, a second controller is not needed to use an Erbil.

The game is possible to beat without Popka, but if you do decide to use him, press the start button on a second, plugged in controller, and use the Square button for Popka to boost Klonoa. Afterwards, Popka will be dizzy and need to 'recharge' before he can boost Klonoa again.
5. Holding the diva hostage, this character plans to turn Phantomile into a permanent nightmare, destroying everything, including himself. Who is it?

Answer: Ghadius

Joka is only Ghadius' follower, while Ghadius is the mastermind behind trying to destroy Phantomile. Balue builds a tower to reach the diva, Lephise, and you can unlock a bonus level in which Balue has completed his tower and Klonoa needs to get to the top before Balue tries to confess his love to Lephise!
6. A former Priestess-in-training, this character decides that she is going to save Lunatea, even if it means destroying it first. Who is she?

Answer: Leorina

Leorina almost destroys Volk for a copy of Klonoa's ring, except Klonoa and friends decide to save the city. Lolo is only a Priestess-in-training at the beginning of the game, but becomes a full Priestess at the end of La-Lakoosha. Tat is Leorina's sidekick, but is never a Priestess or Priestess-in-training. Huepow, aside from the fact that he is male (he is a prince, after all), is not even in Lunatea.
7. The diva of Phantomile, when she sings her song of rebirth, all foreign objects present in Phantomile will disappear. Who is she?

Answer: Lephise

In order to unlock Balue's tower to Lephise, you must rescue all of the prisoners in Phantomile in every level (6 per level and not found during boss fights). Upon completeing Balue's Tower, you unlock a music player so that you can listen to the music from the game whenever you like!
8. The spirit of the ring, this character is necessary for Klonoa's ring to function. This character is also royalty of the moon kingdom. Who is it?

Answer: Huepow

While Lolo is needed for the ring to function in "Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil", she is never called the ring spirit. She is also not royalty of the moon kingdom. In "Klonoa: Door to Phantomile" and "Klonoa: Empire of Dreams", Huepow is called the ring spirit, and in Phantomile, is revealed to be the moon kingdom's prince. Popka, while possibly living within the ring while Lolo is within the ring, is not necessary for the ring's function. Lephise has no connection with the ring whatsoever.
9. Crying out for help, this character lives in the fifth kingdom and wants other people to experience the same feelings that he or she does. Who is it?

Answer: King of Sorrow

At the beginning of "Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil", Klonoa hears someone calling to him for help. Klonoa hears this voice a couple more times, but doesn't know that it is the King of Sorrow until the end of the game. No one else hears the King of Sorrow crying out for help except for Klonoa.

After battling the King of Sorrow, Klonoa rings the bell above the battlefield, which produces a pink element (most likely of sorrow). Although Leorina is responsible for causing the fifth kingdom to appear, Leorina doesn't cry out for help or want other people to feel sorrow as she has.
10. Capable of swimming through both sea and air, this character, at one time under a possessed Seadoph's control, helps Klonoa reach both the sun and moon kingdoms of Phantomile. Who is it?

Answer: Pamela

While Karal, Pamela's son, can swim through the sea, he cannot carry Klonoa into the air, like his mother can. Using Seadoph to hit Pamela will eventually release her and Seadoph from Ghadius' spell, at which time she will become a useful ally. Jetimos, which appear in Lunatea, are capable of boosting Klonoa up great heights, but even if they were in Phantomile, they could never get Klonoa to the heights of the sun or moon kingdoms.

While Flying Moos fly, they act like normal Moos once Klonoa grabs them with a Wind Bullet.
