"Left 4 Dead" (PC) Achievements Quiz

Answer: By picking up a tier 2 weapon

You must only use pistols to earn the achievement "Akimbo Assassin". If you pick up any tier 2 weapon you have lost it, even if you never even fire a single shot. You are allowed to throw molotovs and pipe bombs, however. You must truly rely on teammates to earn this, especially against tanks.

Answer: The witch

In order to earn the achievement "Cr0wned" you must kill the witch without startling her. If you do startle her, odds are you're going to be incapacitated. The official wording is "Kill a Witch with a single headshot" but if you use a hunting rifle and aim for her head, she'll stumble around without getting startled right away and you can earn the achievement.

Some advice I have is to turn off your flashlight before trying this.

Answer: The tank

In Versus mode, you can earn "All 4 Dead" by playing as the tank. In order to get this, you must incapacitate all four Survivors. An easier way to do this is by hitting cars or dumpsters, etc. at them. As soon as a car hits a Survivor, they're incapped. Throw rocks, hit them, do whatever it takes to get all four of them down!

Answer: Blind Luck

"Blind Luck" is earned by making sure that the person who was vomited on doesn't receive any damage. A good tactic is to throw a pipe bomb, which will lure many zombies away from the Survivor. Also, surrounding the covered person will help a lot.

Answer: Heal a Survivor even though your own health is low

Officially, if your health is below 10 and you heal a fellow Survivor, you will earn "Dead Giveaway". This is a big sacrifice on your part since you're close to either being incapacitated or even dying. And of course, you'll need a health kit in order to do this.

Answer: Stand Tall

This means you were never pushed off of a ledge, never got hit too many times by a tank, etc. Also, it means you never disturbed a witch-or if you did, she was killed before knocking you down. You can also earn "Unbreakable" too for making it through a campaign without being healed.

Answer: Crash Course

"Jumpin' Jack Smash" can only be earned in the "Crash Course" map, and only as a Hunter. You must do 25 points worth of damage as a Hunter to a Survivor. There are only two levels to work with, and not a prevalent amount of high buildings to use, so this can be difficult to unlock.

Answer: Pretty new

Odds are your teammate is new if they earn the achievement "Outbreak". It means that they got vomited on by an opposing player who is a Boomer. Also, that Boomer must have had the same thing happen to him or her. Because getting "boomed on" is a fairly common occurrence, it's likely that your teammate is new to Versus.

Answer: Lamb 2 Slaughter

"Lamb 2 Slaughter" is unlockable by incapacitating a Survivor who enters a safe room and then leaves it. Most likely it is to help a fellow teammate. A Smoker is a good choice here because he can snatch that human from a long distance and wrap them up in his long tongue.

Answer: The Sacrifice

In the three-level campaign "The Sacrifice," you can unlock "Chaos Generator". It needs to be in the final level, where you must start three separate generators. You'll need two other human players to help you. All three of you must start the three generators at the same time. Fittingly, the picture of this achievement shows three tanks walking in a row. Get ready to face three non-stop tanks by unlocking this!
