The Sorceress has three skill trees, like all classes, in which she can put skill points into. Apart from dealing elemental damage, which some enemies may be resistant to or weak against, each skill tree specializes in one area or another. Fire spells are for those who want to do massive amounts of damage to many enemies at once, such as Fire Wall and Blaze where the fire will last to hurt enemies over time should they stay in the flames. Fire also has a passive spell that you may want to invest some points into regardless of what type of magic you want to specialize in: Warmth. Warmth increases your mana regeneration rate, so at higher levels your mana regenerates faster, and you won't have to use so many mana potions when using lots of spells. Cold spells can do decent damage as well as it targets enemies, slowing them down so they do not attack as fast or move as quickly. Later Cold spells, like Fire spells, do massive damage to multiple enemies at once. Ice Orb sends out a ball of ice that sends out spines of ice at random angles, making it easy to hit multiple enemies clustered together. Each spine also does considerable damage and will freeze its target. Lightning spells do include spells that do actual damage, but a large portion of the Lightning skill tree is devoted to defensive spells, indirect damage, and other abilities. Telekinesis allows the Sorceress to push back, damage, and stun her targets, while Thunder Storm calls in a storm that will periodically strike an enemy in view, at random, with a bolt of lightning. Energy Shield will absorb Magic attacks and drain your mana pool instead of your health, and will take away some of the damage from physical attacks. Teleport allows a Sorceress to move instantly to any place in view, which is good for getting out of crowded situations.

Answer: Horadric Cube

You get the Horadric Cube in Act II and you need it to complete other quests. For example, you need it to create the Staff of Kings from the headpiece and the shaft, and in Act III, you need the cube to create Khalim's Will out of his heart, eye, brain, and flail.

Answer: Bows, Crossbows, Javelins, and Spears

Amazons use ranged weapons, and the only time they'll get close to their target is if they run up to stab it with a javelin or if the enemy runs up close to her. Bows tend to fire faster while Crossbows generally do more damage. Javelins and Spears are a different, in that the Amazon can either throw them or run up and stab her target at point blank range.

Answer: Your Stash

Your stash is where you can store items for safe keeping, so you can keep your inventory open for new items you may pick up on the field. Your stash can also hold your gold, so when you die, not all of it will be lost. Your stash is transported throughout the acts, so don't worry about leaving your stuff behind once you move onto a new act.

Answer: Assassin

Sorceresses, Amazons, and Assassins are all females, while the other classes, Barbarians, Necromancers, Paladins, and Druids, are males. Gender does not affect gameplay.

Answer: Rogue Encampment

In each act, the beginning area is a haven where no monsters will attack you, and you can replenish your health, mana, and buy goods from the venders. It is also the location of the first waypoint in every act. Creatures can not enter towns, so if you're being chased and can not deal with the threat, you can always run back into the town, where the enemy will not be able to affect you.

Answer: Waypoints

Waypoints are efficient was to get around the world. Once found, you must activate a waypoint to use it. This includes you clicking on it, having your character run over to it, and having the waypoint light up. These are nice if you want to make a quick stop in town before continuing, or if you don't want to have to go through all the areas you've been through before.

For example, if you have already fought your way to the Cold Plains and activated the way point, the next time you wanted to go to the Cold Plains, you could just take the waypoint instead of having to traverse through the Blood Moor (which is between the Rogue Encampment and the Cold Plains).

Answer: Perfect

The order of strength of a gem is: chipped, flawed, *normal* (this means that it will not have a prefix before its name), flawless, and perfect. You can create stronger versions of gems by combining three of the lesser types in the Horadric Cube. For example, you could combine three flawless sapphires to create one perfect sapphire.

Answer: Opal

There are many different gems, but this set does not include opals. There are rubies, sapphires, topaz, emeralds, diamonds, amethysts, and skulls. They all have different effects when inserted into different pieces of equipment. A ruby will give a weapon fire damage if it's socketed, while a topaz will give a weapon lightning damage, but in armor, a topaz will increase the chance of finding magical items. Also, the shading of the socketed equipment will change to that of the colour of the first gem you insert into it, so, if you were to put a sapphire into a piece of armor, it would be tinted blue.

Answer: Marius

The three incorrect answers are all characters from "Warcraft III".

We see Marius in a jail cell, and he tells his story to Tyreal. Marius depicts his adventure with the Dark Wanderer, and his quest to destroy Baal's soulstone. Marius actually doesn't complete his quest, and in the final cinematic, gives the soulstone to "Tyreal", who turns out to be Baal in disguise, meaning that Marius gave Baal his soulstone, making him more powerful than ever.

Marius is telling his story after you've defeated Diablo, but only small clips of the story are shown between the acts as only to fill in the story instead of totally giving it away.
