Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Agarest
Answer: Eva
Eva is a woman of God, or so she claims. However, part of her mystery is that she won't say what god that is.
She appears to be about 25 years old in the game, but it is later found out that she is not from any species, and instead was made in a lab as a gift for another character.
2. Psycho Soldier
Answer: Athena Asamiya
First she appeared in Psycho Soldier in 1987, and later in at least three games in the "The King of Fighters" series.
The character, of Japanese origin, was based off a character from a previous game called "Athena" but was not the same character. Athena Asamiya appears older, and with a different hair color/style than the previous character, among other changes.
3. Dead or Alive
Answer: Ayane
Ayane also appears in the "Ninja Gaiden" and "Warriors" games when not in DoA titles.
The character design changes frequently, but her bio is mostly left unchanged, and she always has purple hair.
She was played by Natassia Malthe, in a live action "Dead or Alive" game.
4. X-Men II: The Fall of the Mutants
Answer: Psylocke
Psylocke has appeared in many formats over the years. Almost always clad in purple, and normally with purple hair.
She was played by Olivia Munson in "X-Men: Apocalypse" and by Meiling Melançon in " X-Men: The Last Stand".
The character is most often a member of the X-Men team.
She's been featured in more than a dozen video games over the years, including her debut in "X-Men II: The Fall of the Mutants".
5. Darksiders
Answer: Lilith
Lilith was in both "Darksiders" and its sequel.
In the first game, she is only a voice, the one who gave Abaddon the choice that ended up making him the Destroyer.
In the second game she appears as a succubus who exists only to temp people.
6. Final Fantasy XIII-2
Answer: Caius Ballad
He appears as an antagonist in "Final Fantasy XIII-2" and also appears in "Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII".
Of course these are two of my least favorite games in series, though not because of him.
In both games he serves as Yeul's Guardian, and fights Lightning.
His full name stands for "Caius of the Ballad clan, from the city of Paddra".
7. Final Fantasy IV
Answer: Kain Highwind
Kain appeared in both "Final Fantasy IV" and "Final Fantasy IV: The After Years" as a playable character.
He hailed from the kingdom of Baron where he was a Dragoon.
He wears a helmet shaped like a dragon's head, and wear all blue and purple armor in both games.
8. Street Fighter Alpha
Answer: Rose
She debuted in "Street Fighter Alpha" and has appeared in several "Street Fighter" games since then.
She also appeared in the "Street Fighter" animated series.
At one point during a fight with Bison, she appears to kill him, but ends up being possessed by him until he is able to have a new body created for himself in another storyline.
9. White Knight Chronicles
Answer: Yulie
Yulie has a dry sense of humor within the game, and pokes fun at the other main character, Leonard, a lot.
Leonard is her best friend, though at times it appears like there could be more there.
When he is convinced to go on a quest to save a princess, she forces herself onto his team.
10. Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge
Answer: Hsien-Ko
Hsien-Ko debuted in "Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge" and has been in a few games in the series since. She also appears in several crossover games such as "Namco × Capcom", "Project X Zone" and others.
The character also appeared on TV in "Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge" in 1997.
