Answer: Kung Lao

This game is not very accurate towards the "Mortal Kombat" universe. Kung Lao is Liu Kang's ancestor from many years ago and therefore, shouldn't be in this game, but he is. After you beat the game with Kung Lao you can use Sub-Zero and after you beat it with Liu Kang you can use Scorpion.

Answer: Rayden

He impersonates Johnny Cage for a little while during the cutscene at the end of the Wu Shi Academy but not after that. He appears as Rayden to guide you and to try and pit Kung Lao and Liu Kang against each other. The real Rayden was actually with Jax in the Hell's Foundry.

Answer: Kano and Ermac

You can fight Mileena by going into the Living Forest with the Swing ability. You can fight Kano at the end of the game by talking to Kitana a few times and you can fight Ermac by going to the Warrior's Shrine and examining his statue three times. Kabal appears in the Wastelands and you can free him to get his Hookswords, he doesn't have his mask on. Noob makes a brief cameo being chased by Sub-Zero but Rain is nowhere.

Answer: Tarkata

Baraka is the leader of the Tarkatan warriors, a savage sharp-teethed race of mutants. You face him in the Soul Tombs and he throws flaming monks at you, but if you're Kung Lao you can slice their heads off and be done with it.

Answer: Reptile

You see Reptile at the very beginning when you're escaping Shang Tsung's island. In the scene with the giant snake (Basilisk?), it is almost the exact footage from "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets".

Answer: Kama sticks

The Kama sticks are really good weapons. They attack fast and only take off a little less then the swords and axes

Johnny Cage has the Torso Rip and Head Toss but also a super secret called the Ball Punisher. Kitana has the Kiss of Death and the Head Chop. They don't have many Fatalities because they are only playable in Versus Mode.

Answer: Goro

Goro is the boss of the Wastelands and when you beat him you get the Double Jump, Sub-Zero is sort of a sub-boss, you fight him, early on but don't get a Tournament Victory or anything. Baraka is the boss of the Soul Tombs, the second level in the game, and he is fun to kill.

You must face Shang Tsung, Kintaro and Shao Kahn in consecutive order and in succession. This gets extremely frustrating as when you beat Kintaro you do not have much health left and when Shao Kahn starts to spin his hammer you're doomed. A way to improve your chances of winning is to help Jax kill Kano and he will leave a Medium Health for you.

They are Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Reptile, Johnny Cage, Kitana, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Baraka. Everyone except for Kung Lao and Liu Kang have to be unlocked.
