She gives birth to three Bombs (red) and three GreyBombs on exploding. Have the warriors work on the Bombs to quickly eliminate them, while Rydia tackles the GreyBombs with Chocobo. Rosa's Slow spell is essential to minimize damage.

Milon is the lord of the undead. Undead are traditionally weak against Fire in Squaresoft games, and this is no exception. In the initial battle, take out the Ghasts quickly with Palom's Fire2 spell, or a lucky dose of Twin magic Flare. Note, undead are also weak against Cure spells, but do not use Cure on Milon. Cure repairs Milon's damage.

Focus Cecil, Yang, and Cid on Cindy, and let Tellah defeat Sandy with Fire3 spells. Without Sandy, Cindy's wall will wear off, and Mindy will accidentally help you by attacking her undefended sister with magic.

She does not use Petrify, but she does use Ray. Ray takes three hits to turn you into stone, two hits if you're critical, whereas Petrify (from say, Basilisks and Black Lizards) slowly turns you to stone. Use Kain's Jump to stop her from spinning, but be ready for that powerful strike.

EDIT - FYI, Petrify slowly turns you to stone, and is often used by Basilisks and Black Lizards (as an example)

3 Cal, and 3 Brena. Defeat a few of them (the red Brena have fewer HP), and they will combine to form a massive doll, the Calbrena. If you don't beat this thing fast enough it will "Run out of power", and fall apart into the 6 dolls, forcing you to start all over again.

Just when it appears that Cecil will be Demolished by Shadow, Rydia summons the Mist Dragon from off-screen. She then rejoins the party as an adult after Healing Cecil's paralysis. Golbez attacks with high powered Black magic, including the Virus spell, so try to balance healing your party with defeating him quickly.

As Balnab-Z, Lugae tries to press a button, and causes the robot to Explode with him inside. He returns in the next phase as a skeleton-like creature.

While the cloak is closed, a small amount of HP is recovered. However, Ice weapons like the Blizzard lance and the IceBrand sword still do double damage.

The best way to avoid this is to not let the EvilWall get that far. Kain's Jump, Rydia's Virus, Cecil's Light sword, Edge's Long swords and Darts, and Rosa's Slow spell make up a potent total team attack. Use Rosa to Cure damage and Heal petrification where necessary.

White magic... is only useful if it hits the target. Use Wall on Asura, and all of her healing spells will come to your aid. To use your own Black magic, use Wall on one of your party and pull a Delta Attack. Failing that, Call magic will go through a wall, as will weapons.

It's just Ice2, but from Leviatan, it really packs a punch. Take care to protect your warriors, particularly Edge who seems to have worse magic resistance than Cecil.

If Odin uses "Odin", either everyone dies or he uses it again right away to make everyone die. Careful reading in the Library near Asura and Leviatan will show you that his weakness is Lightning. If you have Lit3, use it. Otherwise, Indra and Blitz, with Cecil's attacks and Slow from Rosa.

Answer: MegaNuke

When you fight him, it's MegaNuke. When you summon him in battle, it's called MegaFlare. Use Wall on your party to reflect it back at him, again as per the Library books. It does pay to read!

The Defender uses a powerful Remedy spell that will heal the CPU regardless of the Wall it's covered by. A single Nuke from FuSoYa will make short work of it. Focus your attacks on the CPU next, even though the Attacker is pelting you with Maser blasts. If you destroy the Attacker instead, the CPU will destroy one of you with Globe99 and then regenerate the other two Orbs. To hit the CPU, use weapons and single target Call spells like Sylph and Bomb (if you managed to find it).

Answer: Dark Dragon (Dark Elf after "ME CHANGE")

Looks more like the Dark Elf in dragon form. As I said in another quiz, the PaleDim likes to use Quake, so Float first with Rosa. Also, PaleDim plays with strategy by using Slow on you. It has no weaknesses, but with Float in place you'll have an easy time. The Murasame is your reward.

Like the FatalEyes in other areas of the Path to the Core, Plague uses Count, which causes instant death once the counter reaches 0. However, Plague uses Count on your entire party at once. It also uses the Fast spell on you to speed your demise. Use a total team attack of Jump, Darts, Nuke or Bahamut, White, and the strongest sword for Cecil you've got.

This guy is tough. It's first move will be MegaNuke, probably before your first attack. It will then protect itself with Wall, and use it to bounce Nuke spells that you can't block. The cycle repeats. Good luck! The Crystal Sword is your reward, and it is the best weapon in the game for Cecil, doing 9999 damage against things weak against sacred power.

This Leviatan knock-off guards the Masamune in the Crystal chamber en route to Zemus. Unlike Leviatan, it's not weak against Lit, but it should be no problem by now.

Zeromus will counter Nuke with Nuke, and he will counter White with Weak. The Weak counter-attack is deadly, as the Big Bang spell has a residual Virus-like effect in that it slowly drains your HP. Virus effect + Weak = near-instant death. Bring all of your strength to bear, and you will save the day! Thanks for playing!
