1. When were the first "Pokemon" games released in Japan?

Answer: 1996

"Pokemon Red/Blue/Green" were released in 1996 in Japan and 1998 elsewhere, and were the first games in the series. They were created for the Game Boy. "Pokemon Yellow" came in 1998 (Japan) and 1999 (elsewhere).

2. What is the badge you get for beating Brock?

Answer: Boulder Badge

Brock is the Rock-type gym leader, so obviously you would be rewarded with the Boulder Badge. He is battled in Pewter City.

3. In "Pokemon Black/White", if you chose Oshawott, who is your first Gym Leader?

Answer: Cilan

You must battle your starter's weakness. Since Oshawott is Water-type, its weakness would be Grass.

4. If you were in a battle against Bellossom, which of these Pokemon would be best suited to oppose it?

Answer: Ninetales

Type matchups are important. Bellossom is a Grass-type, which means Ninetales would be strongest against it, since Fire is super effective against Grass.

5. Which Pokemon is #000 in the Unova Pokedex?

Reshiram is the legendary Pokemon that appears in "Pokemon Black". Zekrom appears in "Pokemon White" and is that game's legendary.

Lenora discovers a Moon Stone in the museum. You get the stone after you help Burgh.

9. Who is the Champion in "Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow"?

Samuel does not exist in the games. Red is really Ash, which ties in with the TV series.

Answer: 151

"Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow" took place in the Kanto region. In these games, there were 151 Pokemon, and many of these appear in later generations.
