Groudon is the boss before Rayquaza, appearing in Magma Cavern.

Keys can sometimes be found scattered around any floor of Solar Cave. You need one to get to the link cable on the tenth floor and HM Waterfall on the fifteenth floor. HM Surf is on the twentieth floor in the open, but is on an island in the middle of a moat.

You can wish for more money, more items, another friend area, an item that will raise your stats, or something good (which will randomly be either a new Pokemon or your rescue rank will raise, you do not decide which). You can also allow Jirachi to join your rescue team, but it will no longer grant wishes if you select this option.

One day after clearing Solar Cave, a Spinda will wander into town and faint. It will give you a feather from a mirage Pokemon (turns out to be Ho-oh), and send you on a quest to find it. After conferring with Xatu atop Great Canyon, you will be sent to Fiery Field and Entei. Defeating Entei allows you to go to Lightning Field and Raikou, and then to Northwind Field and Suicune after beating Raikou. Once all three are defeated, you can go to Mt. Faraway and fight Ho-oh.

Once you get Ho-oh to join your rescue team, you will hear about an insanely tough dungeon from Charizard and Blastoise, who couldn't get through it. Mewtwo is waiting at the end, but to get to it, you must face strong opponents on nearly every floor.

There are no apples scattered around the dungeon to keep from going hungry, but there are plenty of Reviver Seeds in case you faint or are knocked out.

What Pokemon you become depends on how you answer your questions and what gender you are. There are thirteen character traits that each have a point value for each answer to each question. You can become a Pikachu if you are an impish male or a hardy female.
