Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which is the only unit that requires a Fleet Beacon?

Answer: Carrier

Once the Fleet Beacon has been warped in you can warp in Carriers. Carriers can carry around smaller units called Interceptors to attack for them. At the Fleet Beacon, you can also upgrade things such as the Scout's speed and the carry capacity of Carriers.
2. What are the Protoss workers (units that collect Minerals and Vespene Gas) called?

Answer: Probes

Probes can mine minerals and harvest vespene gas, but instead of becoming a building, like the Zerg Drones, or have to build their buildings like the Terran SCV's, they just have to go to the build site, and open a warp rift, after that they're free. You can have multiple buildings under construction without having to have a Probe hang around waiting for it.
3. How do the Protoss increase their population limit?

Answer: By creating Pylons

Not only do Pylons increase the Protoss' population limit, but it also creates more building space. Similar to the Zerg Creep, which all Zerg buildings have to be made on, all Protoss buildings must be made in the radius of a Pylon, which isn't very big.
4. What is the Protoss equivalent of a Terran Dropship, or Zerg Overlord?

Answer: Shuttle

Shuttles, like Dropships, can carry up to eight spaces of units (some units take up more than one space). Shuttles, Dropships, and Overlords don't have any weapons, but they can all transport units over any type of terrain with relative speed.
5. What are the Zealot's weapons?

Answer: Psionic Blades

Psionic blades are made out of psi, which seems to be light, in which can be upgraded three times at the Forge. Psionic Blades are also used by Drak Templar. Just remember that Psionic Blades are melee weapons; that Zealots and Dark Templar have to get up close to their target before they can deal any damage.
6. How many legs does a Dragoon have?

Answer: 4

A Dragoon is a robotic unit capable of firing at both ground and air units. Although effective and powerful, it takes them a while between shots. A rush of small, fast attacking Zerg units will decimate a force of Dragoons if they don't have backup. Always keep Zealots around for escort.

A strike force of Dragoons, and backup units, such as Dark Templar, is normally an effective one, providing a nice diversion for your heavier units to sneak in through a different entrance to the enemy's base.
7. The Carrier can carry Interceptors to attack for it. What is the max number Interceptors a Carrier can hold (including upgrades)?

Answer: 8

Although when you're first able to produce Carriers, you'll only be able to make four Interceptors for each. At the Fleet Beacon, you can upgrade your carriers to carry up to eight Interceptors each.
8. You can create an Archon when you combine which two units?

Answer: Two High Templars

Archons are made when you order two High Templar to join together. This doesn't cost anything, but it will take time after the two High Templar have merged before you'll have your Archon. Archons, like Dragoons, can attack bot ground and air units, only with a larger amount of damage.
9. What does a Photon Cannon do?

Answer: Attack both enemy ground and air units

Photon Cannons are nice in the way that they can attack both ground and air, but they seem to be a little less durable than their Zerg and Terran counterparts. You'll want to group many Photon Cannons together, because their firing speed is so slow, that they can't possibly take out an enemy strike force with just one volley of shots.
10. Where can you build Protoss workers?

Answer: Nexus

The Nexus is where you can make Probes, and where your Probes will take the mineral and vespene gas they harvest. Like a Terran Command Center, or Zerg Hatchery, if you don't have the main building, or workers, you had better hope that you military forces are enough to finish off your enemies.
