Answer: The Leshy

The forest can be difficult to navigate because of obstacles barring your way. It is not always possible to move in a straight line between two adjacent "Screens", you might have to go quite a way around. For instance, the Leshy's area is just north of the garden, but you will have to walk all the way around to reach it.

The forest is not too big though, and as in "Quest for Glory 1", you'll do well to make yourself a map of the forest and all the important locations you find. This can actually save your life later on, when trying to run away from monsters.

Answer: Inside the castle walls

For the most part, Mordavia is a very dangerous place, especially after dark. If you are caught outside of town after the sun goes down, expect trouble to find you soon enough. In the forest, your best bet would be to head straight for Erana's Garden, which is roughly in the eastern center.

Another good location is the Gypsy camp at the northeast, but only after the Gypsies have accepted your presence. Unlike in "Quest for Glory 1", the castle is one of the least safe places to be in the entire game, so sleeping there is not possible at all. Even getting past the gates is an extremely dangerous venture.

Answer: Chernovy

The Elderberry bush can easily kill you if you get too close, and merely encountering a wraith can get you killed if you don't run away quickly enough. Fortunately, neither of these will move to chase you. Will of the Wisp are the spirits of drowned children, and are largely harmless. And while you will meet a pair of Chernovy wizards who won't give chase, most of the Chernovy in the forest are very persistent.

Answer: Southeast of the town gates

Anna is the long-lost wife of Nikolai, doomed to wander the forest after having been eaten by some creature fifteen years ago. She wants to get back to town, but she cannot move away from her place of rest, southeast of town. How will you get Nikolai and Anna back together? Well, Nikolai may be an old man, but he is certainly determined...

Answer: Badder

Badder poison is not too bad, as it wears off relatively quickly. The real dangerous poison comes from Wyverns, and they are very effective at delivering it. All it takes is a single hit in close combat, and then you need to find a way to remove the poison or suffer a considerable loss of health. Fortunately, Dr. Cranium can create poison antidote potions for you, but only at a rate of one per day.

There is a more effective (and freely accessible) way to get rid of poison, but it only exists in one part of the forest.

Answer: Rusalka

Rusalka is the undead spirit of a maiden drowned by her fiancée. She is very attractive... and very naked... but don't be tempted or she will promptly drag you down to your untimely death! There's not much you can do for Rusalka, unless you are a Paladin.

Answer: Necrotaur

The Necrotaur is perhaps the most dangerous creature you'll meet, especially if you are physically weak and/or cannot cast spells. They appear relatively early in the game, but you can probably outrun them if you don't muck about. Unfortunately, they offer no reward whatsoever, except the pride of having actually killed one.

A Fighter-class character will get extra points for defeating two of them in a row at the castle gates - they are that dangerous.

Answer: Obstacles make some parts of the map completely inaccessible

The layout of the forest does not change after dark. However, you will find that some sectors are populated by very dangerous undead spirits, forcing you to go around. Fortunately, this does not render any section of the forest inaccessible, as you can always find another way to avoid those spirits.

It's important to remember where these spirits appear so that you can avoid them, and later defeat them all.

Answer: In the large crypt at the cemetery

The castle used to be ruled by the Borgovs, a family of nobles who have since all died out. They built a secret tunnel leading from the family crypt all the way into the castle. Getting inside the crypt can be difficult, and even once you've managed that, you'll still need to solve a puzzle to get the tunnel door open.

Answer: Nothing

In "Quest for Glory 4" there is no reliable way to restore stamina except by resting. Dr. Cranium can provide you with Health and Antidote potions, but does not create any stamina-restoring concoctions. And unlike "Quest for Glory 3", the waters at Erana's enchanted area will not restore stamina either (although it does have some beneficial effect...).
