Every time you finish a challenge, you get some bolts as a reward. If you finish all of the challenges you will earn an item from one of the rangers. This item is needed to finish some of the later levels, so you'll need to finish them sometime.

Titanium Bolts can be used to purchase new Skins for Ratchet. Skins will change Ratchet's appearance, but will not affect game play in any way. Different skins will cost different amounts of Titanium Bolts, but they don't do anything different.

At the start of the challenge, you will need to skydive down to the battlefield while avoiding missiles. After that, all you need to do is kill the enemies without dying. After finishing, you will be awarded 15,000 bolts.

Answer: Gravity Boots

The Gravity Boots are almost the same as the Magna-boots from the first game. They allow Ratchet to walk up some walls. Unlike the Magna-boots, Ratchet walks at his normal speed while on walls, plus he can jump without falling off it and use weapons. They are given to him by a Galactic Ranger.

Answer: 20,000 bolts

20,000 bolts is a decent amount for a challenge like this. The enemies aren't too hard, and it can make saving up for some the more expensive weapons a lot easier. While the amount you get decreases every time you do the challenge, you shouldn't need to do it many time, plus there are other challenges you can take up.

The Skill Point is called "Bash the Party" and is earned by killing twenty enemies using the wrench. This one is easiest to get in the first two challenges, where you don't need to deal with the Gatling Turrets as well as the normal enemies.

Answer: You don't use vehicles in any challenges

The two vehicles you use in battle missions are the Turboslider (which is a car with a mounted turret) and the Hovercraft (which is a flying tank that fires missiles). The reason you don't get to use either of these on Planet Rilgar is because there are only a few nodes to capture, and none of them have vehicle pads.

Weapons can be purchased from Gadgetron Vendors. Gadgetron Vendors are the small orange cubes that are often found near the start of levels. While this is the most common way of accessing vendors, there are others.

Coordinates allow you to visit new planets. While there are always new things to do on new planets, there are often new (and stronger) enemies to fight. It helps to buy new weapons and armour to prepare yourself for them.

Answer: To destroy all enemies without dying

The enemies will be attacking a bridge in the middle of the battlefield. You don't have the advantage of all the cover near the ranger base this time, but a couple of well placed Megaturrets should make this challenge easy.
