Answer: Cycling Road

Cycling Road is loaded with Bikers and Cue Balls, who mostly carry Fighting-type Pokémon. It's a good way to gain experience, and you can also grab HM 02 (Fly) on Route 16, which connects Celadon City with Route 17.

Answer: Invisible Walls

These aren't the most annoying of obstacles in the game, but if you're not looking, you could get frustrated. The walls are set up so you have to circle around the back and come forward to Koga in the center. The walls don't force you to battle every trainer, but you may want to. You can get the experience now, or never, because after you battle the Gym Leader, you can't battle anyone in the gym.

Answer: Poison

I don't know why it's called the Soul Badge if you battle Poison-type Pokémon, but I'm assuming there's some kind of symbolic thing attached to it. With the Soul Badge you can use Surf outside of battle; now you can explore the vast sea routes.

Answer: Good Rod

Remember that Old Rod? You probably haven't used it since catching a Magikarp. Anyways, now you can catch a greater variety of better Pokémon with the Good Rod.

Answer: Gold Teeth

The Warden lost his Gold Teeth in the Safari Zone and no one can understand what he's saying. Get the teeth, give them to the Warden and he'll gladly reward you with HM 04 (Strength).

Answer: HM 03 (Surf)

The secret house can be found in area three after traveling around the outside edge of area two. Once there, the man inside will tell you that no one has ever gotten to the secret house and he'll reward you with HM 03 (Surf). Surf will be a nice asset to your collection, allowing you to travel over any body of water.

Answer: Super Rod

The Good Rod seems kind of pointless, doesn't it? You got it so late in the game and so close to getting an even better rod, but, what can you do?
The Super Rod is the best in the game. You'll be able to catch the best fish.

Answer: Pokémon Museum

Cinnabar Island is an interesting place. First off, the Pokémon Lab is the place to take that fossil you got at Mt. Moon and the one you stole from the museum in Pewter City. These fossils can be turned into Pokémon. The Dome Fossil will create a Kabuto, the Helix Fossil will make a Omanyte, and the Old Amber, from the museum, will be turned into an Aerodactyl. Secondly, the gym is locked and the key can be found in the abandoned mansion, where Pokémon, Scientists, and Thieves lurk.

Answer: Fire

Blaine's gym is a zigzagged hallway with a bunch of heavy doors blocking the way. In each room there's a machine that will ask you a question. Get it right and the door will open. Get it wrong, and you get to battle the trainer. Beat the trainer, and the door will open. Blaine himself isn't too hard.

He has a Rapidash and an Arcanine that can get annoying, but nothing that will last too long.

Answer: Push boulders into holes

You'll need Strength for this, but it's worth it. There's a series of currents in the Seafoam Islands and you'll need to block off the water ways so you're not swept-up and taken down stream. In the upper levels, you can push the rounded rocks into the holes which are conveniently located right above where they need to go.

After all the rocks are in place, you can swim over to Articuno's perch and capture the bird.
