Answer: True

Time passes when Ned returns to the Quilt (falling into the void) before the end of the game or getting clobbered, which happens when Ned takes too much damage. In the good ending, the five shadow monsters appear as heroes standing up to a giant Ned. In the other, Ned is gripped with fear from the shadow monsters under his bed and runs to his parents, while the monsters argue as to why their plan was only partly successful.
2. In "Amazon Trail", what species is the Inca king who appears to the main character in their dream in the opening and instructs them as to which items to bring to his lost civilization?

Answer: Jaguar

The player communicates with the Inca King through by means of this jaguar, who will inform the player as to the next item the king desires. All such items - displayed on the menu screen as they are acquired - are required to complete the game. Otherwise, the player's journey will be a failure. The first item asked of is always Cinchona to cure a Malaria epidemic.
3. In "Arcade America", where is the player's final destination?

Answer: Woodstock

Joey makes his way on this epic road trip from the West Coast, first visiting the prison Alcatraz, followed by Las Vegas and many other cities, as he makes his way to Woodstock in Upstate New York. Each pit stop (stage) features one of his monster friends and an item associated with them. The player must collect all such items to achieve the best ending.
4. Which Humongous Entertainment mascot was introduced first?

Answer: Putt-Putt

The purple car with a dog in tow first appeared in "Putt-Putt Joins the Parade" in 1992. Humongous' second game was "Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise" in 1993. Freddie's debut was in "Freddi Fish and the Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds" in 1994. 10. The now-famous phrase "The cake is a lie" originated from what title?

Answer: Portal

The phrase - viewed scribbled as graffiti throughout the game has a double-meaning, referring to both the duplicity of the villain GLAdOS, as well as the expectations of the main character Chell, which will inevitably go unfulfilled. "Portal 2" follows up on the popularity of the phrase by including the list of actual cake ingredients that can be seen on computer monitors and during the battle with GLAdOS.
