1. When does Sonic figure out that G.U.N. confuses Shadow for Sonic?

Answer: The scene right after the first boss of hero story

After Sonic sees Shadow holding the Green Chaos emerald after beating the first boss, Sonic figures out what is going on. "Now I get what's going on! The military have mistaken me for the likes of you!" The scene right before the two fight for the first time, we see Sonic calling out Shadow by saying he is a faker but this is obviously way after he found out what was going on.

2. In "City Escape" right after Sonic jumps off his board and heads up the stairs, there is a single metal crate to the right. What is in that steel crate when you are able to break it?

Answer: A switch

When you break open this crate after getting the ability to do so, there is a switch to turn on. When activiated it will make a straight line of rings to the top of the other stairs. This is useful to beat the "gather 100 rings" mission (mission 2) faster to get that A rank that much easier.

3. What does Shadow say every time he gets a rank A?

Answer: "Ultimate victory"

He is basically correct about that since the rank can't get any higher. The other quotes I made up but we all know Shadow likes to say every now and then in scenes that he is the Ultimate Lifeform. Try getting all A ranks - you will be highly rewarded for your hard efforts!

Answer: As long as you want

Tails' real name is Miles Prower. You can fly and stay in one spot in the air or move around, but you can't fly while holding an object or chao.

5. What is the name of the Sonic stage that starts right after the scene where Amy gets Sonic out of Prison?

Answer: metal harbor

When you get to the missile launch, there is a second hidden path next to the ending spring. There is a trail of flying robots to another path with a bunch of rings to light dash to the hidden spring. You have to be very quick and not make any mistakes or you will run out of time! Do this and you get a huge chunk of points! This is what you need to do in order to get that frustrating A rank for this stage.

6. The Mystic Melody ability is required in order find the chao (mission 3) in the "Aquatic Mine" stage.

Answer: True

There is no other way to get to the chao. The water level needs to be at its highest point and you need to open an ancient looking door at the highest point in the level by playing the Mystic Melody ability at the ancient structure in front of that door. The ability to breathe underwater is also hidden in this level. Having this ability will make getting to this chao a lot easier!

7. In the 2-player mode foot races, which one of the two level 1 stages has a section where you can actually run?

Answer: The grinding one

For the snow boarding one you never get off your board for the whole race to the goal ring. As for the grinding one, nearly the whole level is on a grinding rail. But about 5 seconds from the goal ring the rail ends and it puts you on this straight foot path to the goal. This level is also good practice for people who have not mastered the rails yet.

8. The scene after Knuckles fights Rouge, what is the last thing Knuckles says to her?

Answer: "I'm sorry if I hurt you."

Every quote I put as a choice is something Knuckles does say to Rouge before or during the after fight scene. The quote "That's a good one, your emerald? Talking to you is a waste of time!" is the last thing Knuckles says BEFORE he fights Rouge. The quote "Finally..." is what Knuckles says in the middle of the after fight scene when Rouge finally gives him his master emerald pieces back. Sometimes Big the Cat from "Sonic Adventure 1" for the Sega Dreamcast will appear in the backround running on a ledge.

9. What game did Sonic find boring in the scene right before you fight the first boss after "City Escape?"

Answer: Tag

After you beat "City Escape" in story mode, the scene right before you fight the boss, Sonic says "This game of tag is boring, I'm out of here! Hmm, finally decided to show up, eh? Okay, bring it on!" This fight can end before the boss can even move if you constantly jump on the box right in front of it to hit him until he is destroyed.

10. What ability/item do you absolutely need in order to find the third piece of the Master Emerald in Knuckles' stage "Wild Canyon" on "Hard Mode" (mission 5)?

Answer: Sunglasses

Hard mode in Knuckles and Rouge's treasure missions teaches you to do any crazy thing that goes through your head and see if it works. Pumpkin Hill has a hidden master emerald piece that will blow your mind!
