1. In this stage, Tails goes chasing the president's limousine. What is the stage called?

Answer: Route 101

This is stage 9 of hero story. Rouge the bat plays Route 280 to try and find Tails.

2. In what stage does Tails get the Volkan Cannon upgrade?

Answer: Eternal Engine

Tails gets the booster in Mission Street which allows hovering. In Hidden Base, Tails gets the Mystic Melody. It's quite hard to find so I'm not going to tell you where it is! Lastly, in Prison Lane, Tails can get the power up which increases his lock-on range. It is found somewhere near the goal ring!

In City Escape, Sonic gets the magic hands. In Metal Harbour, Sonic gets the light shoes. In Green Forest, Sonic gets the ancient light. In Pyramid Cave, Sonic gets the bounce bracelet. In Crazy Gadget Sonic gets the flame ring. And finally, in Final Rush, Sonic gets the mystic melody.

Sonic got mistaken for Shadow, who robbed the bank. After Amy releases Sonic, Sonic refused to marry her and ran off. At this point,the fourth stage, Metal Harbour starts.

The island is called "Prison Island". Eggman set a bomb for the island to blow up. Shadow received a transmission from Eggman after his fight with Sonic. Eggman told Shadow to hurry up and get off the island. That's when the Green Forest stage started.

The only two Knuckles' stages without any boos is Wild Canyon and Meteor Herd. Hard mode will not have any boos if the regular stage doesn't, so there is no need to worry if you are scared of them (like I am)!

Answer: Amy

Eggman said that if Sonic didn't hurry up to get to him, Amy would die. With this, Sonic had to rush through Crazy Gadget (stage 15).

Answer: Aquatic Mine

Aquatic Mine is stage 8 of the Hero story. Knuckles plays this stage, and at the end he pops up out of the drain to see Sonic, Tails and Amy.
