Obviously Mario can jump as it is required many times throughout the game. Mario's jump is also a way to make people believe he is Mario.

The five characters in your party are Mario, Mallow, Geno, Bowser, and Toadstool. By the time the game came out, Peach was still known as Toadstool so that is what her name is in the game.

Mallow has a few magic attacks he can use. He can heal party members. He can use thunder and ice against enemies.

Mallow is the first and Toadstool is last. Peach is mainly used for healing as she does not have much strength.

The Seven Stars are the items that you are looking for throughout the game. At the end of the game, you have six but Smithy had one and you had to fight him for it.
