Where in "Super Mario RPG" Are We? Quiz

Answer: Rose Town

The Lazy Shells are the most powerful weapon and armour in the game. Although we can only get one of each, we can mix and match them on any of our players. To get it, we need fertilizer (found in Nimbus Land) and a seed (found in Bean Valley). Eventually, a path will open up in the north end of Rose Town, we can hand them over to a man inside the house, and a beanstalk will grow into the clouds where we can find these elusive items.

Answer: Booster Pass

Booster Pass is a pretty lame place. By this, I mean we don't have much to do here. When we enter Booster Pass, we have a chance of getting two Flowers, but that's about it. There are a few enemies along the way like Artichokers and Lakitus, but overall, it's a pretty quick area.

In Booster Tower, we can find a switch that will open up a secret path in Booster Path where we can find a Snifit Apprentice training to be Booster's fourth assistant. We can also find a few items at the end of a small jumping course.

Answer: Monstro Town

Hurly Gloves are a pair of gloves that Bowser will use as a weapon to throw either a Mario doll or Mario himself at an opponent. We have plenty of opportunities to buy Hurly Gloves in the game, but by the time we arrive in Monstro Town, they can be replaced by the Spiked Link. Its cost? 94 coins.

Answer: Belome Temple

In Belome Temple, we need to take a fortune and ride an elevator down to fight Belome for the second time in the game. Occasionally, Belome will be sleeping in front of his treasure hoard, but if we're lucky, we can catch him when he's hungry. To get into his treasure hoard, we need to go to Monstro Town, and make the Thwomp inside one of the houses crash down enough times to make a key fall to the ground. Give this key to Belome, and we're in. Among the stash are Frog Coins, Flowers, Royal Syrup, a Max Mushroom, and a Fire Bomb.

Answer: Marrymore

When we visit Marrymore for the first time, we'll be chasing Booster and the Snifits to Marrymore Chapel before they can get married. We can take the back entrance through the kitchen and break our way in. When we burst in, we'll accidentally knock the princess' crown, shoes, brooch, and ring off, so we can get the 'wedding gear' from the Snifits and the crown from Booster's head to stop the wedding.

After this, Chef Torte and his Apprentice will be so angry with us that they will fight us until their masterpiece of a cake will start fighting as well. If we burn out its candles, it will reduce itself to its smaller form, Bundt, and we can attack it until Booster eats it.

After we do this, we can take the princess back to Mushroom Kingdom where she will decide to join our party.

Answer: Bandit's Way

In Bandit's Way, not only can we fight K-9s, but we can just destroy a population of them if we get a Super Star in our hands. With the Super Star, we can be invincible for a short time. As long as we walk/run/jump into enemies, we can get experience without even battling.

These can be found all around the land. In Land's End, we can battle the K-9's next stage, Chow, and this time, we'll have two Super Stars possibly waiting for us before we enter Belome Temple.

Answer: Monstro Town

In Montro Town, we can find a room with a single bed and a mushroom lamp. If we go to sleep, we will be visited in the night by the 'Three Musty Fears', Greaper, Dry Bones, and Big Boo. They will hide their flags throughout the land, and if we find them and go back to sleep here, we will get the Ghost Medal. One is under the bed in Mario's Pad, another is in the O of the word GOAL on Yo'ster Isle, and the last is behind the Rose Town Statue that we see when we first enter the town.

Answer: Mushroom Kingdom

After we've played the game for a while, we should go back to Mushroom Kingdom. If we go into the inn, we can talk to the kid in the back of the room and he will give us a game because he's already beaten the high score. To play it, we can go to our menu screen, and select the game option. See if you can beat the high score!

Answer: Bean Valley

Megasmilax is a giant Pirahna Plant which will somehow grow with the help of a Shy Away's magic watering brew. During the fight, not only will there be regular Smilaxes to fight us, but eventually, the Megasmilax will grow and use more attacks. Aside from the usual fire attacks that these creatures have, Megasmilax will use Petal Blast and S'Crow Dust.

Answer: Pipe Vault

If we navigate through some of Pipe Vault's pipes, we'll come across a mole from Moleville who will let us play his Goomba Stomping game. For every Goomba we hit, we get a pint. For every red-eyed Goomba, we get more points, and for every Spiny we hit, we lose a point.

After, we'll get a score. If we play again and beat that score, we'll get a Flower. Pipe Vault is of course the only way that we can access Yo'ster Isle, so therefore, the level can be skipped over entirely. If we want, we can head right to Moleville after defeating Bowyer.
